With the development of quality-oriented education,more and more teaching modes emerge in the teaching of various subjects.Of course,aerobics teaching is not an exception.Traditional teaching cannot meet students' learning needs.Therefore,it is necessary to keep pace with the times,introduce new teaching concepts,transform traditional teaching method,advocate the transition from "leading" to "guiding" by teachers,and highlight the "subject" status of students.Applying Dorr 4R theory to practice can change the traditional teaching concept and classroom teaching mode and enrich aerobics teaching.Dorr's 4R theory is the educational theory in the book "postmodern curriculum view" published by American contemporary educator Dorr.Based on the post-modern era and on the premise of various theories,Dorr has reflected on and criticized the curriculum of modernism and put forward the 4R theory.The proposed theory has become the focus of extensive attention in the educational circle,and has certain enlightening significance for the development of education in various countries.Based on the existing problems in aerobics teaching as the breakthrough point,it will be introduced to the Dorr 4R theory in aerobics teaching,rich in aerobics teaching and reflect Dorr 4R theory value,Stimulate students' interest in learning,improve the quality and efficiency of aerobics teaching,cultivate students' independent learning ability and innovation ability,so as to providing theoretical and practical reference for aerobics teaching.so that,using the methods of literature,questionnaire,questionnaire investigation,teaching experiment,mathematical statistics and other methods for Dorr 4R theory applied to aerobics teaching was analyzed,and the effect in Gansu institute of political science and law level for 2017 elective aerobics students as experimental object as a semester teaching experiment taking a total of 36 hours.In aerobics class,4R theory teaching and traditional teaching are compared and analyzed.After a semester of teaching experiments,the following conclusions are preliminarily obtained:1.The application of Dorr 4R theory in the teaching content,teaching method,teaching evaluation method,teaching process,achievement assessment and teacher-student relationship of aerobics has a significantly better teaching effect than traditional teaching,indicating that Dorr 4R theory is necessary in aerobics teaching.2.Dorr 4R theory's practice in aerobics teaching is more conducive to improve students' physical quality than traditional teaching.Such as: standing long jump,sit-ups,sit-forward,50 meters,which the effect is significant.3.Dorr 4R theory's practice in aerobics teaching can stimulate students' learning interest,enthusiasm and potential.It is more advantageous than traditional teaching to cultivate students' self-confidence,sense of teamwork and coordination.4.The practice of Dorr 4R theory in aerobics teaching is conducive to improve students' "ability"(diversified knowledge of problems,physical exercise ability,self-knowledge ability,scientific thinking and innovation ability,in-depth understanding and knowledge ability),which is better than traditional teaching.5.Through the survey on the teaching satisfaction of aerobics classes with two different teaching views,it is found that students prefer to learn aerobics classes with Dorr 4R theory as an intervention.6.The comprehensive performance of the experimental class is better than that of the traditional class.7.The learning of traditional aerobics is positive and valuable.8.Through the study of aerobics in the experimental class,the students' physical condition has been improved.Such as: sit-ups,standing long jump,50 meters significant effect.According to the research conclusions what is said above,the following Suggestions are put forward:1.Based on the implementation of Dorr 4R theory in aerobics teaching,teachers should pay attention to the pertinence and applicability principle of the theory,make overall arrangement of teaching plan and gradual progress.2.Teachers should deeply study,discuss Dorr 4R theory,flexibly apply it,summarize practical experience,learn to integrate it and broaden the application scope of Dorr 4R theory.3.In order to expand students' knowledge and promote their all-rounddevelopment,teachers should not only master the professional knowledge and skills of this discipline,but also master the knowledge of interdisciplinary(such as educational psychology,pedagogy,psychology),teach by words and deeds,and promote the all-round development of students.4.Teachers should improve the evaluation system.In terms of performance assessment,beside setting up some examination contents with evaluation standards,teachers should focus on the training of students' special skills.In addition to the assessment of students' basic abilities,teachers should also investigate students' personality characteristics for comprehensive development.5.Expand the application of Dorr 4R theory in other disciplines,so as to cultivate a special faculty team
