Study On Post-materialistic Values Of University Students And Its Influence

In the past 40 years of reform and opening up,China's economic strength has developed rapidly,social and material wealth has accumulated rapidly,and the people's living standards have improved significantly.For a long time,the Party and the government have made economic construction an unshakable central task,and the real and tangible results of economic development have brought considerable sense of appreciation and satisfaction to the people and long-term high trust in the government.The transformation and development of values are also inevitably changing.The vast majority of the people are no longer worried about food and clothing,but instead are pursuing higher levels of development,equality and dignity,and inclusive "post-materialism values".But what is the dimension and scope of change? Empirical research is needed.As an emerging social force,college students are playing an increasingly important role in society.They accept the profound influence of various ideological trends and campus fashions.Their social activities are relatively high,and their ability to explore and use new knowledge is stronger.Based on the results of the four-wave data survey of college students 'social consciousness and campus impression from2014 to 2017,based on the literature combing,Construct the theoretical foundation system of "macro-political system","meso-academic context" and "microcosmic individual tendency",and use empirical research methods to build statistical quantitative models.On the basis of theoretical support,this paper classifies the tendency of college students to choose government function performance as two kinds of tendencies: materialist and post-materialist,and then explores the influence of the two concepts held by individual college students on government trust.The study found that in the four-wave data,the number of post-materialistic values held by college students has been declining year by year,and the proportion of post-materialistic values held by college students is lower,accounting for less than30 % of the total.At the same time,the government trust of college students isincreasing year by year.From the view of the relationship between variables,the post-materialistic values and government trust of college students show a significant negative relationship.Based on the influence effect and changing trend reflected in this conclusion,the author,by using the subject research method,puts forward the targeted educational guidance policy suggestions from the governmental administrative departments of education,the responsibility subjects of the Shudeli people in colleges and universities,and the external influence of the family and society.It is hoped that the results of this research will provide policy reference for fostering positive values of college students and optimizing and perfecting government behavior at all levels.
