China's basic education is undergoing a new transformation.The new era calls for the effective transition from junior to senior high school education.The integration of junior and senior high school education is imperative.To realize “integrated education” between junior and senior high schools,we must first work on the construction of the teaching staff.Joint teaching and research between junior and senior high schools is undoubtedly a new effective way.The cross-stage joint teaching and research is a new form of teaching and research.It is carried out between junior and senior high schools in order to achieve the integration of junior and senior high school education as well as the professional development of teachers,based on the principle of mutual benefit and complementary advantages,and with the ultimate goal of improving the level of education and teaching.The cross-stage joint teaching and research is different from the traditional school-based teaching and research or inter-school teaching and research,thus breaking the previous pattern of joint teaching and research at the same stage and enriching the form of teaching and research in the phase of China's basic education.This paper investigates the current situation of joint teaching and research between junior and senior high schools in the urban area of L City.The data shows that its current situation is still at an inefficient stage.There are many obstacles and practical problems.From the perspective of the administrative department of education,the Education Bureau of L City has not yet issued a guidance document for the joint teaching and research between junior and senior high schools;In terms of schools,principals lack strong awareness,supporting systems and funding support for the joint teaching and research;In terms of the research staff,the teaching researchers are inadequate and incompetent;from the perspective of teachers,there is a lack of technical guidance for teaching and research,and the teaching task is too heavy,so there is no time for them to give consideration to teaching and research.Based on these reasons,to promote joint teaching and research between junior and senior high schools,we need the policy support from the education administrative department,the technical support from teaching and research institutions,the instructional leadership of principals,and the active participation of front-line teachers.This thesis is divided into six parts:Part ?: Introduction.This part mainly introduces the background,research purpose and significance,literature review,concept definition,research ideas and methods,research difficulties and innovations of joint teaching and research between junior and senior high schools.Part ?: The theoretical explanation of integrated education and joint teaching and research.This part first interprets the connotation,value orientation,vision,goals,paths and significance of integrated education,summarizes the basic types and characteristics of joint teaching and research,and analyzes the functional value of joint teaching and research and the supporting conditions for the ideal joint teaching and research.Part ?: Theoretical bases for the improvement of teaching and research between junior and senior high schools.This study is based on the theory of symbiosis and the theory of social independence,and points out the inspiration of them to the improvement of cross-stage joint teaching and research level.Part ?: An analysis of the current situation of supporting conditions for joint teaching and research between junior and senior high schools.Based on the survey results,this part analyzes the existing problems such as the lack of policy support from the education administrative departments,the lack of technical support from teaching and research institutions,the lack of internal incentives at the school level,and the lack of active participation of front-line teachers.Part ?: Promotion strategies for supporting conditions of joint teaching and research between junior and senior high schools.In order to ensure the smooth development of the cross-stage joint teaching and research,this part proposes the formulation of relevant policies for joint teaching and research,strengthening the construction of teaching and research teams,building a harmonious school teaching and research culture,enhancing principals' instructional leadership,and boldly innovating the joint teaching and research activities.Part ?: Conclusion.This part mainly reflects and summarizes the entire research,points out the main research results and deficiencies of this study,and recommends the direction for further research.
