From "Teaching is the first task to rule the country and bring the people stability" to "Mencius' s Mother Moved Three Times",it reflects China's tradition of attaching importance to education from the national level to the family level.Education is of great significance to get rid of privation, promoting human development and social mobility. With the continuous deepening of China's education reform and advancement of China's educational modernization and other strategic goals, the human capital of education in various regions has been greatly improved, and the education gap between regions has also been dipped.Whereas,it is a long-term and arduous task of achieving equity in education. The realization of educational equity is affected not only by macro factors, such as the allocation of educational resources, the activity of economy, the hukou system and so on,but also by micro factors, such as intergenerational transmission of family education, the impact from family is more permanent and far-reaching.Therefore,under the realistic background of the rapid development of China's current educational undertaking,we need to pay attention to what are the characteristics of intergenerational transmission of family education, and whether the improvement of the macro education level can alleviate the phenomenon of intergenerational solidification of education and promote education equity, etc. The discussion of these issues has some practical significance,on the one hand,it can provide some explanations for deeper understanding of the intergenerational transmission of poverty and social stratification in China,on the other hand,it can further understand the important role of education popularization and education modernization in China to promote the realization of fair education, that will provide a basis for the government to formulate more scientific and targeted public education policies. The first chapter of this article introduces the research background, meaning of the research, studying content, research methods, and possible innovations.Chapter two expounds the definitions and the viewpoint of original exoterica related to education human capital and intergenerational transmission of education, and the current research dynamics of domestic and foreign literatures. The third chapter presents the data source and the variables used in the empirical research, and also analyzes the current situation of provincial education human capital and intergenerational transmission of education. The fourth chapter sketches the regression model, comments the traits of the intergenerational transmission of education of China through the regression results, anddiscusses the impact of provincial education human capital on the intergenerational transmission of education, the group regression method is used for different genders, qualifications, household registration and regions for heterogeneity analysis. The results show that:(1)the education standard of parents has a prominent positive effect on the education standard of the offspring.Compared with male offspring, highly educated offspring, urban offspring, middle east offspring respectively, the intergenerational transmission effect of education between female offspring, low educated offspring, rural offspring, and western offspring and parents is stronger.(2)the improvement of regional education human capital can significantly inhibit the intergenerational transmission of education. The grouping estimation results show that the increase of provincial education human capital can significantly inhibit the intergenerational transmission of education among female offspring,low-education offspring, rural offspring and parents. With the view of regions, the ascension of provincial education human capital can significantly inhibit intergenerational transmission of education between offspring and mothers in the eastern and western regions, and inhibit intergenerational transmission of education between next generation and fathers in the central.(3)the robustness test results show that the influence of provincial educational human capital on the intergenerational transmission of education in the western region is not robust. The fifth chapter summarizes the research findings, and get the policy implications to continue to expand the popularity of junior high school and above education level, elevate gender equality in the field of education, promote the continuing education of low educated groups, increase the policy support of rural education and the economic support for families in the western region. And then, pointing to further breakthroughs in the future.
