Lu Wenwei is an educator who has made important contributions in the history of modern education in Nantong,and is an expert in grammar and rhetoric research.Since teaching in 1937,Lu Wenwei has been devoted to the reform of Chinese education,the construction of textbooks and rhetoric theory for 50 years.Rich experience in Chinese education practice and profound knowledge of grammar and rhetoric have formed his distinctive scientific Chinese teaching concept.His Chinese teaching concepts and educational practices have affected many people,and have made an immortal contribution to the development of education in Jiangsu Province and the creation of modern Chinese education in China.Lu Wenwei's concept of educating people can be summarized into three points: overall improvement of the quality of primary and secondary school teachers,comprehensive training of higher education talents,and efforts to build a dialect investigation and research team.This is Lu Wenwei's macro-education idea.He presided over Nantong Primary and Secondary School teachers' training in the 1960 s to the Cultural Revolution.In 1976,he set up the Chinese Department of Nantong Teachers College.The essence of thought summarized in these three educational activities.Adhering to this concept of educating people and putting into practice Chinese education,Lu Wenwei had an important influence on the first universal primary education and compulsory education,promoting the development of higher education,and recording Nantong dialect with modern linguistic theory.Lu Wenwei's concept of language teaching is to achieve the integration of the three aspects of text,grammar and rhetoric with Chinese language teaching.It can be summarized as follows: take proficiency in knowledge of text,grammar and rhetoric as a theoretical weapon,and focus on analyzing the expression and expression of language in the article Concepts permeate all aspects of his Chinese teaching.As a result of being engaged in grammatical rhetoric research and normal teaching at the same time,Lu Wenwei's language teaching concept has special value,which plays a good role in integrating knowledge.Lu Wenwei's reading teaching concept is "big language concept" that is the view of quality education.It emphasizes that the extension of Chinese language is consistent with theextension of life.His concept of reading teaching first manifested in the definition of language,including language and writing,language and articles,language and literature,language and culture.He just hopes that teachers will slowly understand and establish a large Chinese perspective.Secondly,he repeatedly emphasized that Chinese teaching should pay attention to the "double base",among which the basic abilities include listening,speaking,reading and writing;the basic knowledge includes grammar,rhetoric,logic,and literary talents,so that Chinese teaching can be constantly changed.In the end,he emphasized that Chinese is the surname "language",reading teaching should start with language,and thinking training and language training should be the focus and core of teaching.Lu Wenwei's concept of composition teaching is "cultivating students with personality" and "focusing on human growth",emphasizing the educational function of composition on people.It is specifically manifested in two aspects: the instructional steps of the composition and the method of correcting the composition.This composition teaching concept has been passed down through the efforts of several generations,which is conducive to fully excavate the personality of students and achieve long-term penetration and subtle effects.What is seen on the surface is technology and tools.In fact,what is implemented behind it is for people.attention.In-depth study and research of Lu Wenwei's Chinese teaching concept has a strong guidance and enlightenment to promote the current Chinese teaching reform and correct teaching style.Only by attaching importance to "double bases" and cultivating students' thinking can Chinese language teaching cultivate students with individuality.Only by attaching importance to quality education can the education revival be truly realized.
