Modern tennis is a highly professional sport,the year-round competition is numerous,the intensity of confrontation,the duration of the season is long,these have put forward a huge test of the athlete's physical fitness.While looking at the professional men's tennis in recent years,it is not difficult to find the age structure of its major tournament winners aging,statistics in the last five years of the men's tennis four Grand Slam champion winners,are 28 years old veteran(until the end of the 2019 season).Senior players can achieve such a good result in the men's professional tennis arena with such high physical demands,there are many factors,and scientific selection and training is undoubtedly the most important of them.This paper mainly uses literature,mathematical statistics,comparative analysis,case analysis,expert interview series to study Federer,Nadal,Djokovic's career "old" stage of the number of entries per season,level,time,efficiency and other factors,and according to the above three players between the interval time and the results of the analysis of their training cycle characteristics.Through systematic research,this paper draws the following conclusions: 1,the world's top male senior tennis player career "old age" stage of the number of entries per season between 14-18 stations.2,excellent senior tennis players' annual participation arrangements to grand slam series and year-end finals as the core,before and after each core tournament,will be arranged 2-3 weeks or more time to adjust or resume.In terms of the types of venues in which the competition is played,it is mainly hard-ground,with clay races between 3-5 and grass races no more than three.3,three players in the career "old" stage of the lowest average efficiency of the season,and in terms of the event level contribution rate,the three players "senior" stage of the average season Grand Slam and Masters points contribution rate of more than 70%.4,in terms of the level of the tournament average points play,the three players career "old" stage average of the highest in the ATP World Tour 500 tournament,and in the Masters field average points play is 44%.The annual training and participation plans of the three players are distinctly cyclical,and the annual schedule of the world's top male tennis players can be divided into 4-5 stages,each containing 1-2 cycles,depending on the playing environment and the venue climate and the level of the tournament.6,although the modern professional tennis league schedule is tight,the season is long,but the traditional cycle training theory is still applicable to the annual schedule of senior tennis players,"tournament-type preparation period" and "tournament-type recovery period" for the senior players to scientific ally schedule the schedule is very helpful.
