The Analysis Of Income Influencing Factors Of Female Floating Population In China

Since 1978,China has begun to strengthen industrialization and urbanization across the board.The unbalanced development between various regions has led to large-scale population movement within China's borders.According to the Report on China's floating population development of 2018 reported in Beijing in November 2018,by the end of 2017,total migrant of China was 244 million people,accounting for a great proportion in total population.It can be seen that large-scale floating population represents an important phenomenon in China's population development and social economic development.From the perspective of gender structure,the female floating population accounts for 48.1%,nearly half of the country's migrant population.As time goes on,the female floating population has gradually become the main part of the floating population.Given the expanding of female floating quantity,their survival quality and development situation has grown to be the spotlight of society concern.The income of female floating population is not only related to the effect of the national floating population citizenization policy implementation,but also related to the degree of social and economic development,and it is the key object of the Sociology.However,there is still lack of systematic empirical research about how flow effects the income of female floating population in China.Therefore,from the perspective of demography,this paper analyzed the basic characteristics of the female floating population by using the dynamic monitoring Data from 2017 Migrant Population in China,and made a Cross-descriptive Analysis of it with the income status of the female floating population in China.Secondly,it took individual characteristics,flow characteristics,social characteristics and employment characteristics as independent variables for Multiple Logistic Regression Analysis.Then this paper analyzed those four kinds of characteristics and their impacts on female floating populations' income,which were individual characteristics including age,marital status,education level and household registration nature;flow characteristics including flow reason,flow range and flow time;social characteristics including residence intention and participation in social activities;employment characteristics including main occupations,employment status and employee nature.Finally,some suggestions were proposed for putting forward to improving the income of female floating population in China.This has a practical action on improving education level of female floating population,narrowing income gap between genders,optimizing employment structure,improving social security system and balancing regional income gap.
