With the development of world economy,the competition between domestic and foreign steel enterprises has intensified.The demand for energy is increasing.The metallurgical industry consumes a lot of energy and wastes a lot of energy.Recently,the government has issued a series of policies and programmes about energy conservation and emission reduction,pointing out the goals during the 13 th five-year plan period.In order to achieve the goal of energy saving and emission reduction,intelligent control system of regenerative heating furnace is designed,reducing energy consumption and improving heating quality of regenerative heating furnace.The heating furnace of pulse combustion control is used as the research object for the intelligent control system of regenerative heating furnace.The control algorithm of temperature control in heating furnace like PID control algorithm,fuzzy PID control algorithm and DMC algorithm are compared by Matlab software.The automatic control system of regenerative furnace with the burners combustion control strategy,the burners switching control strategy and the furnace pressure control strategy are designed.And then the beat switching time is calculated and the commutation control flow is optimized.Finally,the hardware configuration of Siemens S7-300 PLC is carried out.The intelligent control system of regenerative heating furnace is designed by STEP 7.The intelligent control system of regenerative heating furnace adopts pulse combustion control mode and intelligent control algorithm.Compared with traditional heating furnace system,it can effectively improve the stability and robustness of the system.The energy utilization rate of the reheating furnace is obviously improved,and the uniformity of the temperature in the furnace and the distribution of the flame have been greatly improved.It can reduce the production of nitrogen oxide,and it reduce the oxidation loss on the surface of the steel billet,and improve the quality and speed of heating.It is important to the development of iron and steel enterprises in China.
