Global warming increasingly threatens the space of human survival and development. In addition to natural factors, the greenhouse effect caused by carbon emissions has played a key role.Developing a low-carbon economy has become an important measure to promote sustainable economic development. And cap-and-trade has become one of the main strategies for energy saving and emission reduction, which regulates that carbonemissions rights could be purchased and sold as commodities in market. The government sets carbon emission limits to limit the carbon emissions of enterprises. If the actual carbon emissions of enterprises are higher(lower)than the carbon limit, they can sold(purchase)carbon emission rights in the carbon market. At the same time, companies can make carbon reduction efforts to effectively reduce carbon emissions. This paper examines the issue of the coordination of the two-echelon sustainable supply chain under the carbon cap-and-trade regulation. The Stackelberg game model dominated by the downstream retailer and the upstream manufacturer is studied separately, and the optimal profits of the centralized model and the decentralized model are compared. The coordination of the supply chain is achieved through the coordination contract. The structure of the article is as follows:In chapter 1,we introduce the research background, research status, and the structural framework and innovation of carbon cap and trade. In chapter 2,we consider a supply chain coordination consisting of one manufacturer and one retailer under cap-and-trade regulation,in which the retailer is the leader and uncertain market demand relied on the manufacturer's carbon emission reduction technology level and after-sales service level,we established a centralized decision-making and decentralized decision model respectively, and then passed cost-sharing contract, which coordinates the supply chain. The study found that cost-sharing contract can encourage manufacturer to provide more carbon reduction efforts and sales efforts to achieve the goal of supply chain integration. In chapter 3,we consider a supply chain coordination consisting of one retailer and two manufacturers which are competing under cap-and-trade regulation. The level of sustainability as a decision variable influences the supply chain.By comparing centralized decision-making and decentralized decision-making,we find that there is a loss of profit of 30% in the decentralized decision, and then through the two-part tariff contract, the supply chain system is perfectly coordinated. In chapter 4,the conclusion of this paper is summarized, and the future research is forecasted.
