The nickel mineral resources in China mainly exist in the form of copper sulfide nickel ore,most of them are many lean ore.The biggest problem in flotation of coppernickel sulfide ores is eliminate the influence of slime.Scientist have been developing various new flotation agents to restrain and disperse the slime and hope to increased the index of flotation concentrate,but the new flotation agents have problems such as long period from research to application,high cost,and environmental pollution.Based on a lot of references at home and abroad,this paper will investigate the effect of speed adjustment on flotation from the machine itself,therefore,this paper will start with the condition of the flotation machine itself.Compared with new flotation agents,the machine has the characteristics of simple,low-cost and safe.The part of pure mineral in this paper take the three gangue minerals of serpentine,talc and chlorite as research objects.Test adopt a method of “single-factor” method to verify the natural floatability of the three gangue minerals.The effect of changing the flotation machine speed on artificially mixed pure minerals was studied.The part of actual mineral take the xinjiang copper-nickel sulfide ores as research objects,Experiment confirmed the flotation flowsheet of " remove slime-mixed flotation ",the types and dosages of flotation reagents.Based on this test,the effect of flotation machine speed regulation on remove slime is studied in slime section,the sand ore section focuses on the impact of flotation machine speed regulation on flotation concentrate index.The main conclusions obtained from pure mineral experiments and actual mineral experiments are as follows.1.The natural floatability of the three gangue minerals from large to small is: talc> chlorite > serpentine.Chalcopyrite adsorption by three gangue minerals is from large to small: serpentine>talc?chlorite,Pyrite adsorption by three gangue minerals is from large to small : serpentine> talc>chlorite.Adopt a method of flotation machine speed regulation can improve the recovery rate of artificial mixed minerals.2.SEM-EDS analysis proved that the chalcopyrite and serpentine will not adsorb obviously when the particle size difference is not large,otherwise obvious adsorption will occur between chalcopyrite and serpentine particle,even chalcopyrite can adsorb itself.3.The flotation flowsheet of “remove slime-mixed flotation” is determined by tests in actual mineral section,properly increasing the flotation machine speed is conducive to flotation in remove-slime stage.About the sand ore section,apply the flotation flowsheet of “remove slime-mixed flotation”,the type and dosage of the regulators,collectors and frothers were defined,and then use the method of flotation machine speed regulation to strengthen flotation.The closed circuit test results show that this method can increase the recovery rates of Cu and Ni in the mixed concentrate by 1.07% and 1.93%,under the premise that the grades are basically unchanged.This method can effectively improve the flotation index of mixed concentrate,and it is also relatively easy to implement in industryIn this paper,the adsorption of three kind of gangue,chalcolite and pyrite was studied systematically,the method of flotation machine speed regulation is futher proposed to strengthen flotation,the test date results prove the reliability of the pure and actual mineral experimental,it provides an easy method for flotation of coppernickel sulfide ore and references for later researchers.
