Objective: To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with cognitive behavioral therapy on college students’ extensive social anxiety disorder,comparing with cognitive behavior therapy.Analyze the changes of Hamilton anxiety scale and communication anxiety scale score after treatment.Compare the clinical efficacy of combined two methods to social anxiety disorder in college students to provide the guiding evidence for increasing clinical treatment of generalized social anxiety disorder.Methods: 150 eligible patients were divided into acupuncture combined with cognitive behavioral therapy group(treatment group)and cognitive behavioral therapy group(control group)according to random number table,75 cases in each group.Treatment group was given both acupuncture and cognitive behavioral therapy,and control group was given cognitive behavioral therapy.Treatment group: Baihui,Sishencong,Yintang,Neiguan,Shenmen,Sanyinjiao and Taichong were chosen with conventional acupuncture treatment,moderate-intensity stimulation,30 minutes per time,needling once every 10 minutes.Cognitive behavioral therapy: Using individual counseling methods which was treated by psychotherapists with cognitive and behavioral therapy.Acupuncture treatment and cognitive behavioral therapy were once in two days,10 times for a treating course,rest for 2 days between treating courses,2 courses in total treatment.The Hamilton Anxiety Inventory and Social Anxiety Inventory were recorded before and after treatment and the data of two groups were analyzed and compared.Result:1、Hamilton Anxiety Scale score comparison: The Hamilton anxiety scale scores were lower after the treatment in both groups,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that both treatment methods can reduce patients’ anxiety.And the difference between two groups was significant(P <0.01),indicating that improvement of anxiety in treatment group was significantly better than control group.2、Comparison of social anxiety scale scores: The change of anxiety scale score after treatment in both groups were significantly(P <0.05),which indicated that both treatment methods could improve anxiety symptoms of patients.And the difference between two groups in the improvement of anxiety was apparently(P <0.01),indicating that acupuncture combined with cognitive behavioral therapy was significantly better than cognitive behavioral therapy in alleviating anxiety.3 、 The overall clinical efficacy comparison: The total effective rate difference between two groups was statistically significant(P <0.01),indicating that the overall curative effect in acupuncture combined with cognitive behavioral therapy for geeralized social anxiety disorder was better than cognitive behavior therapy.Conclusion:This study suggests that acupuncture and cognitive behavioral therapy both have effect on generalized social anxiety disorder among college students.But the therapeutic effect of acupuncture combined with cognitive behavioral therapy is obviously better than simple cognitive behavior therapy.Acupuncture combined with cognitive behavioral can effectively relieve anxiety symptoms,improve the body and mind Health,as well as in learning and working efficiency and the quality of life. |
