A Retrospective Study Of The Clinical Efficacy Of Fuzheng No. 1 Combined With Chemotherapy In The Treatment Of Primary Lung Cancer

Purpose : By observing the clinical application of Fuzheng No.1 combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of patients with primary lung cancer,the clinical effect of Fuzheng No.1 prescription was studied and the effect on the side effects of chemotherapy was evaluated.Material and method:A retrospective study of 60 patients diagnosed as primary lung cancer at the Second Hospital Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in January 2009-December 2017 was divided into 2 groups with a retrospective and controlled clinical study and combined oral Fuzheng No.1 plus or minus combined with chemotherapy for the treatment of lung.The cases of cancer were defined as the combined group.The cases of lung cancer treated with chemotherapy were prescribed as chemotherapy group.The improvement of the main clinical symptoms,the changes of the quality of life,the adverse reaction after chemotherapy and the change of the level of tumor markers after the treatment were observed and compared in the two groups.Results: 1.The total effective rate and stability rate of the combined group were 13.3% and 73.3% respectively,while the total effective rate and the stability rate of the chemotherapy group were 16.7% and 76.7% respectively.The total effective rate and the solid tumor stability rate of the two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05).2.In improving the quality of life,the improvement rate of the combined group was higher than that of the chemotherapy group.There were significant differences between the two groups in the treatment effect of cough,fatigue,shortness of breath,shortness of chest tightness,loss of appetite,and insomnia.The effect of the combined group was more obvious.There were significant differences between the two groups in improving the symptoms of fatigue and shortness of chest tightness.3.There were significant differences between the two groups in the treatment of leucocyte reduction,hemoglobin reduction,thrombocytopenia,liver and kidney function damage,nausea and vomiting(P<0.05).4.The tumor markers in the combined group CA-125,CA-199,and the tumor markers in the chemotherapy group were statistically significant before and after the treatment of CEA,CA-125,CA-153 and CA-199,and there were significant differences(P<0.05).Among them,there were significant differences in tumor markers CA-125,CA-199,tumor markers CEA,CA-125 and CA-199 in the combined group before and after treatment(P<0.01).Conclusion: 1.Fuzheng No.1 can improve cough,fatigue,chest tightness,shortness of breath,loss of appetite,insomnia and other clinical symptoms in lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.2.Fuzheng No.1 can reduce the toxic and side effects of chemotherapy,including the damage of blood cells,liver and kidney and gastrointestinal tract.
