Purpose:To collect outpatient cases of hair decay and alopecia caused by spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome treated with Chinese traditional medicine and Western medicine, make clinical observation and statistics, and analyze the pathogenesis factors, syndromes, treatment methods and efficacy of this disease.Meta-analysis was used to systematically evaluate the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of hair decay and alopecia caused by spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome, and to summarize the medication rules to provide theoretical basis for the clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine.Material and method:1.Collected cases of hair decay and alopecia in outpatient patients from January 2019 to December 2019,screened and sorted out the medical record data of hair decay and alopecia caused by spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome cases that met the inclusion criteria, then summarized and analyzed them.2.Reviewed and collected and selected domestic and foreign literature on the treatment of hair decay and alopecia caused by spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome and established a database. The method of systematic evaluation meta-analysis was used to analyze the literature data, and relevant results such as the effective rate and medication regularity of oral Chinese medicine treatment for hair decay and alopecia caused by spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome were obtained. Results:Thesis 1:1.The ratio of male to female among the observed 72 patients was 0.7: 1.The youngest patient was 12 years old and the oldest was 55 years old.The average age was 28.9±8.75 years old.2.The causes of aggravation of the disease include staying up late, change of work and rest time, sleep quality, diet, heredity, emotion, overwork of work and life,etc.3.No adverse reactions occurred after oral Chinese medicine treatment.4.The integrated treatment of Chinese and western medicine can significantly improve the symptoms of hair loss and reduce the syndrome score.5.The total effective rate in female patients was 90.5%,including 2 cured cases,10 effectual cases,26 effective cases and 4 ineffective cases; The total effective rate in male patients was93.3%,including 1 cured case,8 effectual cases,19 effective cases and 2 ineffective cases.Thesis 2:1.Meta-analysis finally included 11 articles.Significant efficiency analysis of traditional Chinese medicine treatment: the significant efficiency of traditional Chinese medicine treatment for hair decay and alopecia was higher than that of non-traditional Chinese medicine treatment group,RR = 1.95(95% CI: 1.62,2.36),and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);Effective rate analysis: the effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine treatment group was higher than that of the group treated with non-traditional Chinese medicine,RR = 1.34(95% CI: 1.23,1.45),and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);Total score analysis: a total of 6 studies were included.Compared with the non-traditional Chinese medicine treatment group, the score of the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group changed more,SMD = 0.87(95% CI: 0.58,1.16),P < 0.05,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.The commonly used clinical high-frequency drugs are: salvia miltiorrhiza, alisma orientalis, poria cocos, hawthorn, coix seed, platycladus orientalis leaf, polygonum multiflorum, cortex dictamni radices and ligusticum wallichii. The commonly used drugs from high to low are diuretic,antipyretic,tonic,blood-activating and stasis-removing drugs, hemostatic drugs and digestion-promoting drugs.Conclusion:1.The combination of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine has definite curative effect in the treatment of hair decay and alopecia caused by spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome.2.The Chinese medicine treatment can reduce the score of hair loss and the syndrome.3.Meta analysis showed that the high frequency drugs for hair decay and alopecia caused byspleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome are as follows: salvia miltiorrhiza, alisma orientalis, poria cocos, hawthorn, coix seed, platycladus orientalis leaf, polygonum multiflorum, cortex dictamni radices and ligusticum wallichii, which basically consistent with clinical medication.
