A Generation Of Buddhism-Shi Huiyuan, The Eminent Monk Of The Eastern Jin Dynasty

The Eastern Jin Dynasty is a very important period in the history of Buddhism in china.It served as a link between past and future.Since the han dynasty,the Buddhism is spreaded in china,and past the weijing period,it gradually penetrated into China’s social,political,ideological and other fields.In the process of Buddhist heritafe and development of the donjing dynasty,monks played a crucial role.At that time,jiumoluoshi in the north and huiyuan in the south are important leaders.In my article,I discussed the huiyuan of southern mainly.In chapter one,the Huiyuan’s life will be told,meanwhile the historical background will be told us too.In chapter tow and three of this dissertation,I emphatically introduce the interpersonal communication about huiyuan with others,firstly,with his teacher:daoan,and others.In chapter four and five,I commend the main activity of huiyuan in lushan,including the construction of sanha and the translations of lection.In chapter six,I discussed the most important theory of Huiyuan’s:the relationship between the human body and spirit、the most important theory of "karma" about past、now and future.The most famous theory of huiyuan:"Shamen shouldn’t worship the King theory".Huiyuan explained the reason of monks do not worship the King,and also wrote the famous essay.The last part will discussed the development of Jintu Zong after Huiyuan died.And Shandao made a invention of way for pray to Buddha.That is reading the name of Buddha.This way is always continueed until now.
