| Hunting activities already generally exist as an economic activity of getting wild animals to eat in the period of the prehistoric civilization for human in the world.It is especially the important way human rely on.In the civilized era,hunting was reserved by people from generation to generation because of its variety of cultural functions,like political,economic,military,and entertaining functions.The hunting refers to the activities of the emperors,princes and other nobles,also the commoner go to the gardens and outskirts,etc.in the form of individuals or groups to obtain the animals in the feudal imperial era of China.From the beginning of the Zhou dynasty,hunting activities were incorporated into the country’s etiquette rules.Han Dynasty is important developing times of ancient China,especially during and after the Emperor Wudi.The country’s powerful and prosperous provides guarantee for the development of hunting activities,so the Han’s both rulers and civilians have many hunting activities.Han’s hunting activity show its uniqueness,and it changes in many aspects,such as hunting form,scale and function compared to the pre Qin period.Its uniqueness is closely related to the new historical and cultural environment of the Han.Not only the historical and cultural study of Han’s hunting can not only deepen the research of the history of Han,but also can help today’s tourism development and ecological construction.This article’s study object is the hunting activities of Han Dynasty from the aspect of culturology by statistical classification method,comparative analysis method and cultural factor analysis method.In the first part,discussing the primitive hunting activity in world regions and the pre-Qin period of China by anthropological knowledge and historical materials in the pre-Qin Period.Then further summarizes the features of hunting in pre-Qin,and the basic historical facts in Qin.This can lay the foundation for the study of hunting activity in Han.The second part is this article’s key point.In this part,firstly,showing the basic facts of Han’s hunting in the view of main hunting people.Secondly,analyzing the cultural elements of Han’s hunting,such as time,places,clothing,appliances,auxiliary animals,service personnel and taboo.Then reproduces the hunting process of Han.Thirdly,analyzing the cultural functions of hunting in Han at the aspects of politics,economics,military,entertainment and religion,etc.In the last,reflecting on this period’s hunting activities by summarizing the general characteristics,such as the luxury and reduction in etiquette,and comparing the hunting activities in the Western and Eastern Han.In a word,the study and reflection of the hunting activities in Han is not only beneficial to the study of the Han’s society,but also has important practical significance to the ecological construction and cultural construction of today’s society. |
