Research On The Construction Of The Cultural Heritage Corridor Of Nanyue’s Ancient Post Roads From The Spatial Perspective

In ancient times,the Nanyue Ancient Road was not only an important link of economic exchange and cultural dissemination between the north and the south,but also an vital channel for communication both at home and abroad.It was an important node for inland docking of the Maritime Silk Route.However,with the rapid development of social economy and the acceleration of urbanization,the Nanyue Ancient Road gradually withdrew from the historical arena,and its unique historical and cultural values are also ignored by people.Besides,there are some problems restrict the sustainable development of the Nanyue Ancient Road,such as the relative decentralization of cultural heritage along the site,weak awareness of public protection,shortage of special protection fund,and imperfect protection and management system mechanism.Therefore,it’s urgent to require new theories and methods to guide the protection and utilization of the Nanyue Ancient Road and its cultural heritage along the line.From the perspective of space,the paper based on the theory of heritage corridor,taking the Chaohui Ancient Road and its surrounding areas as an example,builds the cultural heritage corridor of Chaohui Ancient Road,to integrally protect and utilize the Chaohui Ancient Road and its cultural heritage along the line.It can promote the heritage protection,regional revitalization,and cultural tourism development in areas along the Chaohui Ancient Road.Through literature research and field investigation,the paper analyzes the composition,characteristics,and values of the Chaohui Ancient Road cultural heritage resources.By using GIS spatial analysis tools and location entropy methods,the paper discusses the spatial distribution types,spatial agglomeration of the Chaohui Ancient Road cultural heritage resources and its spatial relationship with the Chaohui Ancient Road.On this basis,the cultural corridor of Chaohui Ancient Road is constructed,including the following:(1)The overall protection pattern of the cultural heritage corridor of Chaohui Ancient Road is constructed from four aspects: determining the corridor range,building a green corridor,organizing interpretation system and transportation system.(2)To carry out protective development for the heritage clusters of the cultural heritage corridor of Chaohui AncientRoad.It is divided into three levels for protection: the core protection zone,the control and protection zone,and the control development zone.It is developed and utilized by designing thematic tourism routes,creating cultural and commercial streets,and setting up handicraft workshops.(3)To protect and utilize the heritage resource points of the cultural heritage corridor of Chaohui Ancient Road.For different grades and different types of heritage resource points,different protection and utilization measures are taken.(4)The safeguard measures for constructing the cultural heritage corridor of Chaohui Ancient Road are proposed,including: promulgating management methods and improving management mechanisms;carrying out special investigations and compiling special plans;raising public awareness and encouraging public participation;planning tourism products and strengthening publicity and promotion;promoting localization research;promoting market operation.The study of building the cultural heritage corridor of Chaohui Ancient Road provides some reference for other regions.The theory of heritage corridor provides new theories and methods for the protection and utilization of the Nanyue Ancient Road and its cultural heritage along the line.It theoretically helps to promote the academic development of the Nanyue Ancient Road,supplement and deepen the theoretical research of the heritage corridor,in practice helps to explore a set of development models for the Nanyue Ancient Road,make the past serve the present.
