| Discourse marker is a common phenomenon in our oral conversation.They refer to small language fragments which dependent from sentences structure.They are free from any truth meanings or conceptual meanings.What’s more,they lay great emphasis on pragmatic functions.This paper analyzes corpus from Advanced Spoken Chinese II and Developing Advanced Spoken Chinese II,this paper makes out different categories of “say”discourse markers based on the relevance theory,cohesion theory and conversational implicature theory.In addition,we analyze and conducted the survey of the awareness and usage of “say”discourse markers.Then make some practical teaching suggestions for Chinese classes after teaching experiment.The whole paper is consisted of six parts.Chapter one is the introduction.This paper expounds the aims,research status and research methods.Chapter two is the boundaries and functional analysis.This part includes characteristics,definition,the categories of “say”discourse markers and the statistical analysis of “say”discourse markers in the two Oral Chinese Teaching Books,including the content and the quantity of “say”discourse markers.Chapter three is the statistical analysis of “say”discourse markers.This part studies two aspects including structure and function.The questionnaire investigation one is the awareness of discourse markers.The questionnaire investigation two is usage of “say”discourse markers.In addition,find the problem,and then analysis of common errors.Chapter four is the suggestions of teaching.The suggestions include the compilation of textbooks and teaching strategies.The main body of this chapter is teaching suggestions,for example,the leading-in,and the appropriate methods of teaching including comparative teaching method and situational teaching method and so on.Chapter five is the conclusion.Summarize the whole paper and show the inadequate.With the development of the practice of Chinese international education,discourse markers should be taken seriously because of the importance.At the same time,language teaching should study intensively and practice many a time.What’s more,we should apply the theoretical results to practice to make the study better and better. |
