| This paper explored the use condition of Chinese tutorial software based on the smart phone for overseas students in China by literature research and questionnaires and other methods.This paper described the most used software by the survey-takers and investigated the use condition of Chinese tutorial software by them.The research result shows that the mobile,fragmented,miniature learning received more and more attention.This method of learning is also very popular with foreign students in China.This learning method which is convenient can help learners solve problems related to Chinese quickly and improve their Chinese proficiency to some extent.However,at the same time,there are also some problems of this learning style,such as the scarce of high-quality software,the content is not accurate enough,the high fees etc.Overseas students expressed the hope that the Chinese tutorial software could improve the search method,guarantee the accuracy of software content,provide teaching videos and support offline operation.Based on the analysis of the survey results,this paper put forward some improvement suggestions for software developers and the users.The author believes that the software developers can improve their products from the following aspects:appearance and operation interface,language,content,function upgrading and cost.Simultaneously,the learners would better not blindly downloading the Chinese software and should clear their learning goals first before they open the application.On the other side,Chinese teachers also ought to take some new teaching methods.For example,they can ask their students preview before the class with the help of software.In the end,I hope this study can provide a reference for the development and use of Chinese learning software. |
