| As an indispensable part of teaching activities,language testing is of great significance for evaluating and improving teaching.The content of the test of Chinese as a foreign language includes not only the language elements and verbal communication skills,but also the language culture element.Cultural element is hidden within the language and it will affects students’ understanding and output.Nowadays,the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language is developing in depth,but the cultural tests that match it are rarely studied.This paper takes the cultural test as the research center,and selects ten sets of HSK(Advanced)test(five sets of five levels and five sets of six levels)as the research object.Based on the definition of "cultural element",according to the distribution characteristics of culture element in HSK(Advanced)test,we get the proper methods of cultural element’s extraction and statistical classification.Through the statistical analysis of the cultural elements of the examination papers,it is found that the cultural elements of language knowledge account for the largest proportion in the real test,while the cultural elements of non-language knowledge account for a small proportion and the probability of being tested is uncertain.Based on the statistical analysis of the test questions,it is found that there are more tests of cultural elements in reading questions,and the test methods are more abundant.The test of cultural elements plays an important role in judging details,interfering with or assisting comprehension,and is an important means of assisting language testing.At the same time,this paper makes a statistical analysis of the cultural elements in the textbook "Advanced Oral Chinese Course",compares them with the cultural elements in the real test,and finds that there are similarities and differences in the proportion distribution and content of the cultural elements.Language knowledge and non-language knowledge account for a large proportion of the examination papers,while non-language knowledge accounts for a small proportion and their distribution is extremely uneven.The distribution of language knowledge and non-language knowledge in the textbook is relatively uniform,and the proportion of non-language knowledge is larger than that of language knowledge.The characteristics of’ testing and teaching are the main reasons for the difference of distribution ratio.Among them,idioms,proverbs,cultural words of language knowledge and Chinese literature,Chinese history and scenic spots of non-language knowledge account for a large proportion,which is an important cultural content to be mastered at the stage of advanced Chinese level.Finally,based on the comparative analysis,this paper further puts forward suggestions on the compilation of textbooks,classroom teaching and curriculum design related to cultural teaching. |
