Li Yangbing's Research On Seal Script Style And Creation Report

Li Yangbing was one of the important calligraphers of the Tang Dynasty.His book was followed by Li Si of the Qin Dynasty and Deng Shiru and others of the Qing Dynasty.This article takes Li Yangbing as the starting point,and studies the creation of Li Yangbing’s style based on the previous studies.Li Yangbing’s seal character is rich and dignified,but it has different performances in different periods,it is helpful to comprehensively understand the style changes and the lessons learned.The article is a detailed analysis of technique of writing,structure,methodicalness after imitating Li Yangbing’s seal character.Through contrast and practice,the author explores and makes a comprehensible textual interpretation of the graduation work.The main inspiration of creation are: the lettering is harmony in diversity;the overcomes stiffness the rigid and rigid,the strokes are naturally smooth;Art of composition avoid the same with each other and should be replaced by permeability space.For the creations of seal character in large scale,it is more important to overcome the looseness of structures and the bloat of lines.Through the summary of creative practice,deepening the summary of creative practice,deepening the understanding of Li Yangbing’s seal characters is for improving the macro-understanding of its inheritance and innovation.
