| With the development of Chinese education,more and more countries pay attention to the study and application of Chinese from the stage of basic education.The development of Chinese reading material is of great significance to the spread of language.It can not only improve the interest and level of Chinese learning,but also show the soft power of Chinese culture.Combined with the development stage and characteristics of teenagers,the author chooses picture books as the research topic.However,the study of picture books in China started late and was still immature.Smart cat graded Chinese readers is highly praised by the academic circle for its rich original stories and coverage of knowledge.Relevant suggestions are given through the detailed study of the third level text of the book.This paper summarizes the research results and methods of the predecessors and absorbs the excellent picture books for reference,try to promote the development of Chinese picture graded books for teenage learners.This paper is divided into six chapters: the first chapter mainly introduces the reasons,research purposes and research methods and analyzes the current research situation.The second chapter defines the concept of Chinese picture graded books and explains its value in language learning from the perspectives of students and teaching.The third chapter briefly introduces the common Chinese reading materials for research reference,and introduces the publishing situation,content selection and readers’ using situation of smart cat graded Chinese readers.The fourth chapter makes a detailed analysis of the ten texts in the third level of smart cat graded Chinese readers from the aspects of subject,genre,vocabulary use,exercise arrangement and puts forward relevant suggestions.According to the analysis of the previous chapter,the fifth chapter classifies the advice of Chinese graded books for foreign teenagers and puts forward the new thought for picture book teaching.The sixth chapter summarizes the research results and shortcomings.The appendix is the interview record with the editor Xiao Ningyao.It is noticed that the theme of the book should be connected with real life,diversified in style,and cultural points should be laid out in the article in a way of moistening things silently to reflect philosophical sentiment then cause value thinking and emotional resonance;the applied style should be used in the genre;the vocabulary reproduction shouldcomprehensively connect the interest and logical development of the story and the lack of new words reproduction can be strengthened in exercise;consider the use of verse,digital media and the diversity of listening versions. |
