| At the beginning of the 21 st century,the graded readers of Chinese as a second language began to rise in China,and the research on graded readers of Chinese as a second language also increased.Textbook evaluation indicators include linguistic elements and non-linguistic elements.At present,the research on graded reading of Chinese as a second language is mainly conducted from the perspectives of vocabulary,material selection,practice,applicable objects and grade setting,which has produced a series of achievements.At the same time,there are few studies on non-linguistic factors such as subject matter,cultural element and discourse attitude.How these factors affect the use of teaching materials and whether they will interact with language factors need to be investigated and studied.Topics play an important role in arousing learners’ interest in reading and providing cultural context.Topics directly affect learners’ language and culture infiltration experience,the influence on the reading process runs through.Combing and analyzing the presentation mode,type and function distribution of topics in books have a direct role in promoting the quality of graded readers writing and the diversity of evaluation dimensions.First of all,according to the ’ International Chinese Language Teaching General Course Syllabus ’ as well as Ji Chuanbo(2005),Jiang Lei(2013)and other previous studies try to develop a topic classification table,and comparative analysis of ’International Chinese Language Teaching General Course Syllabus ’ and ’International Chinese Education Chinese Level Standard ’,to investigate the concept of the new syllabus ’ Level Standard ’ in the topic field and the change of specific training objectives.Secondly,from the perspective of topic content classification,seven sets of graded readers are taken as the research objects,and the topics of readings are classified and counted according to the two guiding outlines of “ general outline ” and “ grade standard ”.Topic distribution characteristics of long and short readings are observed,and topic selections of English and Chinese second language readers are compared.Thirdly,from the perspective of topic function classification,the distribution characteristics of topic function categories in short Chinese graded readers are investigated.The training objectives of learners’ comprehensive literacy such as language skills,cognitive ability and emotional attitude are analyzed,and the efficiency of the two classification methods of content and function is also verified.Finally,from the perspective of cross-cultural communication,statistics of cross-cultural communication in reading materials related topics.To investigate the distribution characteristics and presentation perspective of intercultural communication topics in short graded readings and explore the relationship between intercultural communication competence and topic processing.Through this study,we hope to provide reference for topic selection of graded readers. |
