In modern Chinese,the change of word order and function words are mainly used to express grammatical meaning.The number of function words is much less than that of content words,but function words play the role of "channels and collaterals" in Chinese,and their status should not be underestimated.Preposition is a small class of function words,which plays the role of introduction and marking,and it is used frequently.There are three reasons for the author to choose the preposition "Gen" as the research object.The first one is that "Gen" has many parts of speech,among which preposition is the most frequently used.The second one is that the preposition "Gen" has no practical meaning and cannot be used alone,but it has many usages and rich semantics,which is a difficult point to learn in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Thirdly,the ontological research and corpus of the preposition "Gen" are sufficient,which can provide a theoretical basis for the teaching and research of the preposition "Gen" as a foreign language.Based on the rich theoretical basis of previous people,the author compared the prepositions close to the preposition "Gen",then collected a large amount of linguistic data as research materials,classified and analyzed the types of errors in the preposition "Gen",and found out the reasons for the errors.Finally,in view of these deviation question to find out the feasible teaching method,proposed the teaching suggestion.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part,the introduction part,combs the theory and teaching of the preposition "Gen",explains the significance of the preposition "Gen" in the Chinese as a foreign language,and introduces the research methods and the source of the Corpus.The second part is the syntactic and semantic analysis of the preposition "Gen" in modern Chinese,including three sections,which are cut in from the syntactic analysis,semantic analysis,comparative analysis between the preposition "Gen" and the similar prepositions,on the basis of the previous research,carefully integrated comb,to sum up,the preposition "Gen" in the use of the process of error may lay a theoretical foundation.The third part is the error analysis of the preposition "Gen" in modern Chinese.By using interlanguage theory and error analysis theory,the author finds out the types of errors and finds out the causes of errors.The fourth part is the teaching suggestion of the preposition "Gen" in modern Chinese.Based on the French meanings of the first chapter and the problems in the process of error analysis in the second chapter,the author puts forward feasible teaching strategies and teaching methods of the preposition "Gen".It is hoped that the study of modern Chinese preposition "Gen" in teaching Chinese as a foreign language(TCFL)can reduce the difficulty of teaching the preposition "Gen" in the future,and provide help for the teaching of TCFL teachers and foreign students in learning Chinese.
