With the accelerated development of our China's urbanization,the floating population has transferred from single mode to family mode.The increasing number of migrant children has came along with their parents to live and study in the city.Until now,migrants have accepted the right to go to the local public schools.However,whether the migrant children can adapt to the public school has been a problem which needs people's high concern and to be solved.Based on the questionnaire survey,this research gets following findings about the current situation and the differences of the all migrant students.Firstly,all the urban migrant students have good school adaptation with big inner difference among all the migrant children;however,there are significant difference between migrant students and local students,especially in school Adaptation and study Adaptation.Secondly,the main problems the migrant students have in school Adaptation includes study Adaptation,peer relation and behavior Adaptation.Thirdly,the personal features have significant differences on school Adaptation;for instance,the students who are in high grade and the students who have higher scores have better school Adaptation.Fourthly,the type of school has significant influences on school Adaptation,the migrant students who in the school which has bigger heterogeneity,have better school Adaptation level.Fifthly,the flow characteristics influence the school Adaptation significantly,the students who have short flow distance have higher school Adaptation,the students who have longer flow time have higher school Adaptation.Sixthly,the family environment has great influence on the migrant students' school Adaptation.From the educational sociological angle,the researcher tries to made following conclusions,according to the further analysis of the research findings:the education equality is the pursue of the migrant children's school Adaptation;the cultural difference is the barrier of the migrant children's school Adaptation;the family supporting is the supplement of the migrant children's school Adaptation;the school acceptation is the security of migrant children's school Adaptation.The school Adaptation of migrant students is not only a educational problem,but also a social problem,which needs the cooperation between government,school,family and the public.Therefore,the author suggests create a supporting system to help migrant students to reach higher level.The system has three parts,the micro-system refers to the school and the family;the intermediate system includes the communication among school,family and the community;the macro-system includes the government and the social environment.
