The sense of class belonging of children in small class refers to the psychological state that children aged 3-4 are recognized and accepted by their own class,and like,trust and depend on the class.According to American psychologist Abraham Maslow's principle of human "need level",small class children are in the stage of obtaining "belonging and love".To get a full sense of belonging will be conducive to children's more exploration and learning,better growth and development.Kindergarten theme activity is a collection of teaching activities around a central topic in kindergarten integrated curriculum.According to the ecosystem theory of UrieBronfenbrenner,the kindergarten where children live is a micro system.Kindergarten theme activities run through children's one-day life in the kindergarten,providing many opportunities and spaces for children's two-way interaction with teachers,peers and environment in the micro system,helping to increase children's understanding of peers and teachers,helping children to be familiar with,like and close to teachers and peers as soon as possible,and then building a sense of belonging to the class.This research takes the problem of children's sense of belonging in class as the subject matter,takes the theme activity designed and implemented jointly with the front-line teachers as the carrier,explores the method of children's sense of belonging in class,and explores the effect of action research on children's sense of belonging in class.Through interviews with cooperative teachers and observation of children's sense of belonging in the class,the research makes clear the problems existing in the cultivation of children's sense of belonging in the class,works out the theme activity plan for cultivating children's sense of belonging in the class together with cooperative teachers,applies the method of action research,puts the theme activity into practice,and constantly reflects and improves in practice.After two rounds of practice and reflection,the change of children's sense of belonging and the change of teachers' concept and behavior are reflected.The results show that: the action research on improving the sense of belonging of children's class gradually clarifies the teachers' understanding of the subject activities of cultivating the sense of belonging of children's class;further clarifies that the anxiety of entering the kindergarten is the key factor that hinders the establishment of the sense of belonging of children;promotes the improvement of the sense of belonging of children's class.On this basis,the paper puts forward the research conclusion that thematic activities can enhance the sense of belonging of small class children.According to this study:First of all,overcoming the anxiety of entering kindergarten is the starting point to improve the sense of belonging of small class children.Secondly,the design of theme activities is based on the class ecological field of children's life.Thirdly,children will gradually feel familiar and cordial to their peers,teachers and classes in the way of perceptual experience.Finally,the practice and reflection of the action process can effectively help teachers understand the sense of belonging of children's class.
