A Total Fluid Recovery (TFR) remedial system has been installed at a site in Washington County, Mississippi, to clean up trichloroethylene (TCE) contaminated groundwater. This paper utilizes data collected during the first operational year of the system to determine the success the system has had in removing TCE from the groundwater. These data include monthly system monitoring and influent/effluent sample analysis, quarterly monitor well sampling analytical results, and groundwater elevation measurements. This research supports the conclusion that the TFR system has been moderately successful in groundwater remediation at the site. |
