Polyethylene, polypropylene and other members of the polyolefin family offer a broad spectrum of structures, properties, and applications. Blending polyolefins with other polymer families can broaden this spectrum even further. Furthermore, many other polymers can be improved with them.; The first survey in this field found 178 papers published up to 1990. This second survey from 1990 to 1997 found 653 more in just 7 years, indicating a tremendous acceleration in the development of this field. These have been abstracted, classified, and tabulated, to serve as a guide for future research and development. |
