This paper mainly research on the characteristics of ore-controlling structure,orebody,primary halo and wall rock alteration in northern belt of Xiao qinling gold province by the deep prospecting engineering data.The results show that orebodys are controlled by Brittle-ductile shear zone,the strike of which is mostly E-W.Mineralization occurs mainly in the tensile fracture which are left-thrusting features and formed in mineralization stages.The type of deposit are characterized by vertical zonation of quartz vein type and the altered cataclastic rock type Au mineralization.Wall rock alteration includes silicification,sericite,chlorite,feldspar and so on.The average ore grade and thickness showed a wavy change,the average grade decreases with elevation.The characteristics of primary halo Zonation are not obvious.The correlation among Au Ag and Cu which are called near-orebody indicator elements is weak,but correlation among Ni Zn and Mn which are called last-halo-mine indicator elements is strong,so the conditions of temperature and pressure in the deep are Not conducive to mineralization.Comprehensive results of this study and previous studies,the paper use the theory of mantle branch to explain the mineralization in Xiaoqinling gold field,for the purpose of providing a basis for further study of the mechanism of mineralization in Xiaoqinling gold field and deep prospecting.
