Shuping landslide is one of the typical landslide geological hazards in the Three Gorges reservoir area.In recent years,it has attracted the attention of a large number of scholars at home and abroad,and many important research results have been achieved for Shuping landslide.However,there has been some controversy about the size and formation process of Shuping landslide,which has failed to form a clear and unified understanding.Based on the current research situation of Shuping landslide,this paper collects data of drilling,geophysical exploration and monitoring.Guided by basic geological theory,through field geological survey,engineering geological analysis,monitoring data analysis and stability calculation,the genesis mechanism and deformation evolution of Shuping landslide are deeply studied and re-recognized.On the basis of a great deal of physical work,this paper has made some new achievements and understandings,and the research results,ideas and methods have certain reference significance for the research and prevention of other landslide geological hazards in the Three Gorges Reservoir area.The main research results are as follows:1)Through field investigation and geological theory analysis,Shuping landslide can be divided into east and west two blocks with the boundary of middle gully.Longitudinally,there are two slope systems on the west side and bedrock deformation body in the middle.Deformation and destruction have taken place in the east,which is the main body of Shuping landslide.2)The middle part of the west side of Shuping landslide belongs to the deformation area of bedrock.The actual deformation and sliding area of Shuping landslide is mainly the East side.According to the survey results,the thickness of Shuping landslide is about10 m?70 m,the length of north and south is about 800 m,the width of east and west is about 140 m,and the actual size of Shuping landslide is about 4.5 million m~3.3)Based on the monitoring data analysis of Shuping landslide for many years,the three monitoring points ZG88,ZG89 and ZG90 in the West are located in the lower,middle and upper parts respectively,and their deformation characteristics show obvious asynchronism and discontinuity.Although the monitoring points SP-1,SP-2,ZG85 and ZG86 in the East are located in different parts,their deformation direction,deformation rate and the characteristics of accumulative deformation curve all have certain synchronization.It is clear that it is continuous and synchronous,and is in the same overall landslide system,which is consistent with the field survey and geological analysis results above.4)Geo-Studio software is used to calculate and analyze the stability of the whole,lower,upper and eastern side of Shuping landslide,and the stability characteristics of the landslide under the conditions of 175m reservoir water level,rainfall,reservoir water level decline and the coupling effect of rainfall and reservoir water level descent are analyzed.The results show that the stability of the West and east sides of Shuping landslide is obviously different under four different working conditions.The upper and lower slopes on the west side are basically stable to stable,while the west side is under stable to unstable,the east side is basically stable to stable,and the surface is partly unstable.The results of calculation and analysis are consistent with the classification of slope system and the characteristics of monitoring data.
