Research On The Evaluation Of Ancient Town Style Of Jiangnan Water Town Based On AHP And GIS Technology

In the wave of urban construction and urban renewal in China,the protection of historical and cultural towns has always been an important mission and goal.As a world cultural heritage,the ancient water town in the south of the Yangtze River truly reflects the history,culture and social development of the region,carrying the traditional culture and folk customs of the region.The development of tourism has brought great economic benefits to the ancient town,but behind the good development trend,the tourism pressure faced by the ancient town can not be ignored.In addition,people pay more and more attention to the historical and cultural heritage,which highlights the importance of the protection and renewal of the ancient town.After years of protection and comprehensive renovation,Jiangnan ancient water town has been generally recognized in terms of historical and cultural resources protection,tourism industry development,etc.,but there are still some problems indicating that there is still room for improvement in the protection of ancient town features.Based on the study of the features of the ancient water towns in the south of the Yangtze River,this paper sums up the theory and practice of the evaluation of the existing features from the research process of the historical urban features.This paper analyzes the features of the ancient water town in the south of the Yangtze River from two aspects of natural landscape and human geographical features,and extracts some elements that can be used for evaluation.Based on GIS and AHP,the multi-level evaluation system of ancient town style is constructed,and the evaluation factors of ancient town style in Jiangnan are extracted.Taking Tongli ancient town as an example,the multi-level evaluation method is applied to investigate,analyze,classify and grade the factors of the historical town.The first level evaluation and the second level evaluation are carried out.Finally,the overall situation of the regional landscape is obtained,and the protection and renewal countermeasures are put forward.This paper not only comprehensively expounds the unique features of Jiangnan Water Town,but also makes a clear and comprehensive quantitative evaluation of the ancient town's features from various levels by combining the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and visualization technology reasonably.This research path is helpful for us to better understand the style and features of ancient water towns in the south of the Yangtze River,and also has reference significance for other ancient town research.
