Multi-attribute decision making is to rank or select a group of alternatives in a certain way by using the existing decision information.Based on the consideration of the hesitance degree,this paper studies the multi-attribute decision making problems of hesitant fuzzy linguistic set and interval-valued hesitant fuzzy set.The main contents include:(1)The hesitance degree of hesitant fuzzy linguistic number is defined based on the number of elements and the deviation between elements in the hesitant fuzzy linguistic number,and the score function of hesitant fuzzy linguistic number is proposed to compare the hesitant fuzzy linguistic number,and the Minkowski distance measure and Minkowski weighted distance measure between hesitant fuzzy linguistic sets are defined on the basis of hesitance degree,and their related properties are discussed.In order to determine the weight of the attribute in the decision problem,an optimization model is proposed to determine the weight of the attribute,and a TOPSIS multi-attribute decision making method based on the hesitance degree of the hesitant fuzzy linguistic set is proposed.In order to verify the feasibility of the method,the method is applied to the film recommendation system.At the same time,the existing method is applied to the same example,and the results are compared to verify the effectiveness of the method.Finally,the sensitivity analysis of the parameters in the decision model is carried out.(2)The hesitance degree of interval-valued hesitant fuzzy number is defined based on the number of elements,length of interval and the deviation between intervals in the interval-value hesitant fuzzy number,and the score function of interval-valued hesitant fuzzy number is proposed to compare the interval-valued hesitant fuzzy number,and the Minkowski distance measure and Minkowski preference distance measure between interval-valued hesitant fuzzy numbers are defined on the basis of hesitance degree,and their related properties are discussed.Then,a VIKOR multi-attribute decision making method based on the hesitance degree of the interval-valued hesitant fuzzy set is proposed.In order to verify the feasibility of the method,the method is applied to the evaluation of emerging commercial technologies.At the same time,the existing method is applied to the same example,and the results are compared to verify the effectiveness of the method.Finally,the sensitivity analysis of the parameters in the decision model is carried out.
