Cold rolling-beating plastic forming is a new type of manufacturing technology,the use of a specific profile shape of the roller with the corresponding feed movement of the workpiece contact with the rollers,through the movement of the synthesis of metal to force the formation of the workpiece surface with a specific tooth profile Shape of the functional surface.The contour surface of a cold roll forming part is the main surface of the part that engages with the associated part,and its quality has a very important effect on the performance.In the cold roll forming process,due to the uniqueness of forming movement and the diversity of influencing factors,the difficulty of controlling the surface quality is increased.Through the system analysis and research on the rolling process,the quality of forming surface becomes an urgent problem to be solved,which has important theoretical and engineering significance.Based on the principle and characteristics of cold roll forming technology,the paper analyzes the characteristics of cold roll forming under the mode of chase and reverse play,and discusses the influencing factors of surface quality of cold roll forming.Based on the principle and characteristics of the cold rolling technology,the maximum height R_y and the micro-hardness HV of the profile surface are taken as the evaluation parameters of the surface roughness and the cold hardening as the surface roughness.The contour roughness calculation model was established,and the influence of different forming parameters on the surface roughness was studied.Based on the dislocation density hardening rule and the Mises yield criterion,the calculation model of the micro-hardness of the cold roll forming technique is established.In order to establish the finite element simulation model of cold rolling forming of block material,ABAQUS finite element simulation software was used to simulate the cold rolling forming process of 40Cr bulk material,and the equivalent stress was calculated to calculate the micro-hardness.The results were analyzed and studied.The influence of different forming parameters on the micro-hardness of the surface of the cold roll was analyzed.The effect of different forming parameters on the surface quality of cold roll forming was studied by comparing the simulation with the experimental results.The influence of different forming parameters on the surface roughness and micro-hardness was analyzed.The microstructure of the workpiece was observed by metallographic experiment,which provided the theoretical basis for the follow-up study.
