Study On Design Aesthetics Value In Chinese Ancient Fan

The initial intention of human creation activities is to meet the actual needs of one’s own life.With the development of society and the continuous advancement of production technology,human aesthetic awareness and the level of needs are constantly improving,and the creation of the world has gradually extended from the initial satisfaction of basic practical needs to the fields of etiquette,culture,and aesthetics.For more than three thousand years,the fan has not only been an indispensable thing in ancient Chinese daily life,but also one of the important carriers carrying cultural etiquette and aesthetic consciousness.Although the size is not large,it has rich meaning and timelessness,and it contains profound cultural heritage and rich design aesthetic value.The thesis "Study on Design Aesthetics value in Chinese ancient Fan" will be based on the ancient fan,a traditional living utensil,and discuss its design aesthetic value from four perspectives: use function,etiquette function,cultural value and aesthetic value,in order to analyze and summarize the inherent value,humanistic feelings,cultural implication and aesthetic style of ancient fan more comprehensively.The specific discussion is as follows: Firstly,it mainly introduces the various uses of ancient fans.Secondly,it combs the development of ancient fans from three aspects: historical decree,humanistic etiquette and communication between China and foreign countries,and discusses the special value and deep meaning of fans as gifts in the cultural context.Thirdly,it focuses on analyzing the cultural value of ancient fans.From the penetration and integration of ancient fan with embroidery,poetry,calligraphy,painting and other traditional Chinese cultures,the thesis discusses the fashion of ancient life and the beauty of calligraphy and painting carried by the fan.Fourthly,explore the design aesthetic value of ancient Chinese fans from the aspects of material selection,shape,decoration,color,etc.,and pay attention to and think about the contemporary and realistic significance of Chinese ancient fan design aesthetics.
