Application Of Intelligent Thought In Mold Rapid Design

Mold industry takes an important place in the manufacturing industry,with the advance of society and science and technology,people's demand level is also constantly improving,intelligent mold rapid design is an irresistable trend.As the popularity of the Internet and computer technology has bred many emerging technologies,the research on artificial intelligence has been extremely hot in recent years,and the shadow of artificial intelligence can be seen everywhere in life.This has brought tremendous changes to people's daily life and work,all walks of life rely on artificial intelligence technology to improve their work efficiency and reduce costs.For the mold design,there will be a lot of uncertain factors,designers in the design process of constantly dealing with these uncertain factors,This will inevitably affect the design efficiency.This article describes the application of intelligent ideas in rapid mold design,using artificial intelligence ideas to build a simple expert system,which turns the thinking process of designers to deal with uncertain factors into a series of complex logic reasoning algorithms,and realizes the intelligent determination of scheme details in the process of mold rapid design.Taking half pipe drawing die as an example,this paper introduces the application of intelligent idea in die design.By using CATIA secondary development technology and method,the rapid design module of drawing die for half pipe was developed,and artificial intelligence was applied to determine the size of punch,the cavity of concave model,the type of guide plate,the layout of the installation position of standard parts and the automatic assembly of standard parts.By manually inputting the parameters of half pipe parts,the program can design and assemble the model automatically,which greatly improves the design speed of the same type of mould.The feasibility of application of intelligent idea in mold rapid design is verified.
