Miners are the direct undertakers of production activities in coal enterprises, and their behavior is very important for safety production. To sum up the causes of coal mine accidents, the proportion of human accidents is as high as 96.5%.At present, researches on miners' unsafe behavior mostly focus on individual factors, formal organizational factors, prevention and control, intervention of unsafe behavior, and lack of systematic research on unsafe behavior from the perspective of miners' informal organization. In order to prevent accidents caused by miners" unsafe behaviors and improve coal mine safety management level. From the perspective of informal organization, this study explored the impact of informal organization on unsafe behavior of miners.First of all, from the reality of the coal industry, the characteristics index system of informal organization of miners is established. The theoretical framework of miner informal organization characteristics is constructed. The importance of each index is scored by expert survey method, and then the weight of each index is calculated by analytic hierarchy process, under the first level indicators, such as emotional factors, geographical factors and utilitarian factors, the second level indicators are set respectively, including personality and hobbies, values, preference and belief, social experience, blood relationship, geographical factors, nature of work and interest needs.Secondly, based on the miner informal organization characteristic index system and interpersonal network theory, the miner contact discrimination is carried out to identify the miner informal organization.UCINET,a social network analysis tool,is used to mine and analyze the attribute information of characters and visualize their relationship network.Through the analysis of the degree centrality, connectivity and faction of the relationship network.Thirdly, the relevant hypotheses and conceptual models about the influence of informal organization of miners on unsafe behavior are put forward. In the conceptual model, the informal organization of miners includes three dimensions:emotional factor, geographical factor and utilitarian factor;Safety climate is introduced as the intermediary variable of miners'informal organization's influence on unsafe behavior.Based on the indicators of informal organization characteristics, the scale of informal organization characteristics of miners was developed, and the item analysis and reliability and validity analysis of the initial questionnaire were carried out. Finally, the formal questionnaire was formed. At the same time, the measurement scale of safety atmosphere and unsafe behavior was determined. Finally, structural equation modeling method is used for data processing,SPSS software is used for fitting analysis of the model, and AMOS7.0 software is used for path analysis to test the hypothesis model.Bootstrap is used to verify the mediating effect of safety atmosphere. And from the perspective of informal organizations, the corresponding management suggestions are put forward. The results show that:among the secondary indicators of miner informal organization characteristic index system, the three indicators of personality, kinship and geography have higher weight.Through the analysis of the miner relationship network,it is found that the concentration trend of the relationship network is not obvious, but the efficiency of information dissemination is high, and the majority of the three person cliques are formed among the miners. In the informal organization of miners, emotional factors have a significant negative impact on miners' unsafe behavior, while geographical factors and utilitarian factors have a positive impact on miners'unsafe behavior. The order of influence of each dimension on unsafe behavior is utilitarian factors>emotional factors>geographical factors. There is a partial mediating effect between miners' informal organizations and unsafe behaviors. The mediating effects from large to small are“emotional factors","utilitarian factors" and "geographical factors".This study will enrich and develop the cause mechanism of miners'unsafe behavior to a certain extent, provide new ideas for the prevention and control of miners' unsafe behavior, and promote the development of behavioral safety management and other disciplines to a certain extent. It is beneficial to prevent miners' unsafe behavior and reduce human accidents, and also to improve the level of coal mine safety management, which provides a reference for the selection of human accident prevention countermeasures in coal mining enterprises.
