Risk-based inspection(RBI)is a technology for equipment risk management that has emerged in the past decade. It plays an important role in reducing the risk of station equipment, optimizing pipeline inspection cycle, and improving the safety of equipment. At the same time,it can provide decision-making basis for enterprise managers,so the use of RBI technology for station risk assessment will be an inevitable trend for the future development of the petrochemical industry. In this paper,a quantitative RBI risk assessment of 143 pipelines in the MH treatment station in Xinjiang Oilfield is conducted. The main research content is divided into the following aspects:1?Calculate the failure probability of station pipeline.Based on BP neural network,a corrosion rate prediction model for pressure pipelines is established.Use the corrosion rate weighted by the measured value and the predicted value for the subsequent risk assessment.According to the average failure probability of similar equipment in the station pipeline, the correction coefficient of the management system and the damage factor, the failure probability of the pipeline at the MH treatment station is calculated.2?Calculate the consequences of station pipeline failure.According to the situation of the petrochemical industry, using the improved method of selecting representative media of multi-component mixed media. The failure area of the traditional method and the improved method under different mole fractions of C1?C2and C5in the pipeline are compared.Conduct a media leak analysis of the pipeline and determine the actual leak rate and actual leak volume of each pipeline. The area of pipeline failure consequence is calculated and the grade of failure consequence is determined.3?According to the possibility of failure and the consequences of failure, the risk value and risk level of each equipment are determined. After processing the risk data of the station,it was found that 10.48%of the equipment in the station took 90.69%of the risk.Analyze the distribution of station risks, focus on high-risk pipelines, and propose targeted inspection strategies.Combined with the provisions of the periodic inspection cycle in the specification, the analytic hierarchy process was used to determine the periodic inspection cycle suitable for pipelines with different risk levels at the MH treatment station. The risk assessment results in this paper are of great significance for reducing the risk level of MH treatment station in Xinjiang Oilfield, optimizing station resource allocation, and improving pipeline operation reliability. At the same time, part of the process of quantitative RBI evaluation has been improved, which provides a reference for other domestic stations to carry out RBI evaluation.
