| In order to maintain a competitive advantage,more and more companies are beginning to pay attention to quality,which requires companies to accurately identify the factors that affect product quality problems and solve quality problems in a more targeted manner.Based on the DMAIC model in the LSS theory,the quality improvement of cord steel is researched.Through statistical mining and analysis of the process data,the main cause of the defect is identified to feed back to the production process with the help of quality improvement.The improvement of tools has effectively solved the quality problem for the enterprise.In this paper,the quality improvement of cord steel in S Steel Plant is the research direction.After analyzing the current status of the cord steel production quality in S Steel Plant,the research is carried out in five stages: definition,measurement,analysis,improvement and control.Customer needs are analyzed in the definition phase,major quality defects are identified,and improvement goals and schedules are formulated.In the measurement phase,the tool should be measured to find out the process capability and identify the main cause of the defect of cord steel.In the analysis stage,statistical inspection methods are used to analyze the main factors and major quality defects that have been screened out to find out the corresponding quality defects under the influence of different factors.In the improvement stage,methods are used,such as process improvement,immediate improvement,and DOE test design to improve key factors.Finally,control charts and other methods are used to verify the improved effect,and continuous control methods for quality improvement are proposed.Through the research on the quality improvement of the cord steel production process of S Steel Plant,the qualification rate of the cord steel quality has been improved,the quality compensation amount has been reduced,the loss of enterprise costs has been reduced,and the relevant enterprises have also been provided a reference to improve product quality. |
