Photovoltaic glass is a kind of flat glass produced by way of rolling shape,which is largely used in the field of crystalline silicon photovoltaic(PV)power-generation.It is placed on the outermost layer of PV module for the function of protecting crystalline silicon PV cell and increasing light transmittance.The manufacturing process comprises of two stages,namely raw-glass production and deep-processing production.In order to satisfy requirements,there are four processing in the second stage,namely edge grinding,coating,tempering and packing.Rate of finished products is an important indicator for quality and efficiency,whose improvement plays a significant role for the development of enterprise.The paper studies rate of fi nished products of photovoltaic glass.Lean Six Sigma management method is implemented in photovoltaic glass,It defines that main factors influencing rate of finished products are cleanliness and edge grinding firstly by the method of Lean Six Sigma.Using Lean Six Sigma to improve the cleanliness and edge grinding by controlling the speed of cleaning machine,distance of grinding wheel and speed of edge grinding machine.To look for and confirm the perfect effect in the basis of DMAIC process between different index on the different level design of experimental(DOE)after key index confirmed.When speed of cleaning machine is less than 11m per minute,cleanliness reaches the best effect.When distance of grinding wheel is less than 10000m and speed of edge grinding machine is less than 11m per minute,edge grinding reaches the best effect.Rate of finished products promotes greatly after above two factors decline.Document and standardize the confirmed parameters in order to provide knowledge accumulation for consecutive production.
