Analysis On The Functional Demands And Achievement Of Running Socks

Under the initiative of the idea of national fitness,the participation of running in China's mass sports activities is getting higher and higher.As the medium between foot skin and shoe microenvironment,athletic socks play an important role in protecting foot and realizing foot comfort during sports.There are three main content of this study,user study,product study,and product development.By user study,we can understand their sports status,consumer behavior and product requirement.Through the study of running socks products,analysis their design elements and functional realization.Finally,based on the theoretical basis of the association between running and physiological characteristics of feet,the design elements and functional characteristics of sports socks,and the functional demands of runners for running socks in terms of heat and humidity and mechanics,develop and evaluate running socks.The specific research contents are as follows:Through the 72 valid questionnaires,understand the public's running behavior,consumer behavior and user requirements.By conducting interviews with 4 running users and 2 development staff in enterprise,understand what the different requirements of running socks function in the actual wearing process and in different scenarios,what problems should be paid attention to in the design and development of running socks.It aims to provide reference for the subsequent definition of target user groups.By conducting market research of the existing products,summarize the design elements of 31 running socks,the category can be summarized into yarn,structure,thickness,knitting tightness,weaving density and size.Selecting 6 samples of running socks with different design elements from market research,and carry out the experiment thermal and mechanical functions in order to analysis the realization of functions.In terms of heat and humidity function,select air permeability and moisture absorption,sweat and rapid drying performance to conduct objective experimental analysis on forefoot and instep area.In mechanical function,conduct objective experiment in arch and heel to analysis shock absorption and support functions.The result of relationship analysis between design elements and function realization can provide reference for subsequent functional design and selection of design elements.Based on QFD model,develop running socks products with user demand-oriented.Firstly,conduct analytic hierarchy process according to preliminary questionnaire survey and user interview to get the ranking of the first and second user needs.Then,associate the design elements with functional evaluation,obtain the two-dimensional relationship between design elements and users' functional requirements,and get the importance ranking of design elements.Design the functional partition on foot,including mechanical function and heat and moisture function.In combination with the foot physiological characteristics,user requirements and the relationship between design elements and function demands,develop 3 kinds of functional running socks,and invite 8 subjects to evaluate the functionality of the running socks.The result shows that through the combination of different design elements,the emphasis on the functional design of 3 samples can be achieved.This study explores the relationship between design elements and functional demands of running socks to develop running socks products.It has enriched the research theory on the design elements and functionality of running socks,which can provide guidance for consumers to choose and buy running socks,provide data support for the functional publicity of businesses,and also provide some ideas and methods for product development.
