| After more than 40 years of reform and opening up,China’s economy has entered a period of transition.Today’s society requires that our economic growth should be coordinated with the ecological environment, and industrial integration and industrial progress become sufficient conditions for sustainable development.Producer services are the key nodes of industrial upgrading and play a decisive role in social and economic construction. As a comprehensive index to measure economic output and environmental costs, ecological efficiency can well e valuate the coordination degree between regional economic development and ecological environment. Therefore, this thesis takes the two as the research focus.By using the panel data of 41prefecture-level cities in the Yangtze river delta region--Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Shanghai and Anhui from 2005 to 2016,and using the super-efficiency SBM model and the dynamic Spatial Durbin Model, this thesis studies the impact of producer services agglomeration on the ecological efficiency in this region. The results show that the average value of producer services agglomeration in the Yangtze river delta region does not change much during the study period, the industrial agglomeration has a Matthew effect, the overall urban ecological efficiency is on the rise, and there is a significant positive spatial correlation and "time inertia",and the spatial spillover effect is very obvious.Based on the overall analysis of the region, the agglomeration of producer services in the Yangtze river delta region has a spatial inhibiting effect on the ecological efficiency, and there is a non-linear relationship between the two.The tendency of industry downgrading is obviously the main reason why the geographical agglomeration level has a significant negative impact on the ecological efficiency of both local and adjacent regions. In the long run,the agglomeration of high-end producer services can improve the ecological efficiency of the region, while the excessive agglomeration of low-end producer services will inhibit the improvement of ecological efficiency. The influence of producer services agglomeration on regional eco-efficiency is heterogeneous. The specialized agglomeration of producer services inhibits the improvement of ecological efficiency in surrounding cities, while the di versified agglomeration shows no obvious spatial spillover effect. At the same time, the influence of producer services cluster on the ecological efficiency and city scale, agglomeration of producer services in megacities can significantly improve the ecol ogical efficiency of the city and the big cities, small and medium-sized cities of producer services agglomeration negative impact on the ecological efficiency,Yangtze river delta region and its economic radiation in big cities, small and medium-sized city in the majority.Based on the above research conclusions, this thesis proposes corresponding policy Suggestions: first,to further improve the development speed of high-end producer services, expand the scale of industrial production, and promote produce r services and manufacturing industry to reach the two ends of low energy consumption and high added value in the production process;Second, strengthen the collaborative agglomeration and coordinated development of producer services and manufacturing industries in the Yangtze river delta region, promote the cross-industry and cross-sector flow of knowledge, technology, capital and other high-level factors, and promote the balanced development of cities.Third, strengthen the division of labor and cooperation among cities of different levels and sizes in the Yangtze river delta, and form the complementary advantages and division of labor between the diversified development of producer services in megacities and the specialized agglomeration of producer services in other cities. An in-depth analysis of the relationship between producer services agglomeration and regional ecological efficiency is of great significance for cities to promote industrial upgrading and economic development while taking environmental governance into consideration in the context of economic transformation and industrial restructuring. |
