Analysis Of Farmers’ Participation Intention And Influencing Factors In Plastic Film Pollution Control

As one of the important agricultural production materials,plastic film is especially dependent on plastic film because Xinjiang is located in the arid oasis area of northwest China.Because of the heavy use and light recovery of plastic film in Xinjiang for a long time,the problem of plastic film pollution is becoming more and more serious.With the problem of plastic film pollution becoming more and more prominent,it hinders the social and economic development of Xinjiang to some extent.Therefore,in order to strengthen the treatment of plastic film pollution and promote the green development of agriculture,farmers are the basic unit of agricultural production,the users of plastic film and the polluters,and farmers should be encouraged to participate in the action of plastic film pollution control.Through reading the literature on plastic film pollution at home and abroad,it was sorted out and summarized,and farmers from surrounding counties and cities in Xinjiang Man as,Weili County and Korla City were selected as the research objects,and conducted field visits in September and October 2020.Secondly,according to the theory of farmer behavior,extern ality theory and sustainable development theory,the personal characteristics of farmers,farmer behavior,farmers’ cognition of plastic film pollution and the participation willingness of farmers are analyzed from the perspective of farmers.On this basis,the influencing factors of farmers’ participation in plastic film pollution are further determined through empirical analysis.The end of the article is the influence of farmers in plastic film pollution control in Xinjiang.Through the study of this paper,it can be concluded that :(1)through the investigation,it is found that most farmers have not joined the cooperative,100% of the farmers use ordinary polyethylene plastic film,and 94.6% of the farmers in northern Xinjiang use rake to recover the plastic film.(2)Analysis of influencing factors of farmers’ participation in plastic film pollution by logistic model.The results showed that age and planting years were negatively correlated with farmers’ willingness to participate in plastic film pollution control.The education level,the proportion of agricultural income to total income,the scale of operation and whether to receive relevant training are positively related to the willingness of farmers to participate in plastic film pollution control.(3)Through the analysis of the present situation and influencing factors of farmers,it is found that farmers’ awareness of plastic film recovery is not strong,some farmers still use ultra-thin plastic film,the state has not well formulated and implemented the corresponding waste plastic film recovery encouragement policy,the government does not attach importance to waste plastic film recovery,waste plastic film recovery efficiency needs to be improved,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions: improve farmers’ own culture and education,broaden channels of propaganda,perfect legal system,produce standardized plastic film,curb the entry of unqualified plastic film into the market,strengthen the propaganda and popularization of plastic film pollution prevention and control technology,establish and improve the waste plastic film recovery mechanism,join agricultural cooperatives,Improve agricultural production patterns.
