A Study On The Willingness Of Farmers To Participate In The Utilization Of Planting And Breeding Waste Resources And The Influencing Factors

In document No.1 of the Central Committee of the People’s Republic of China in 2019,it was clearly put forward that we should vigorously develop ecological recycling agriculture and make use of agricultural wastes such as straw and livestock manure.Wanrong County,as a large agricultural planting and breeding county in Shanxi Province,produces a large number of crop straw and livestock and poultry manure every year.The huge amount of waste not only brings great negative effects to the agricultural production environment,but also seriously affects the improvement of rural human settlements and the development of rural ecological environment.In order to improve the agricultural production and living environment of Wanrong County,Shanxi Province and promote the development of the resource industry of planting and raising waste,this paper studies the farmers’ willingness to participate in the resource utilization of planting and raising waste in Wanrong County,Shanxi Province.Based on the related documents,concepts and theories,this paper first estimated the species,quantity and scale of the waste in Wanrong County,Shanxi Province.On the basis of this,we designed the straw resource participation willingness questionnaire and the livestock manure resource participation willingness questionnaire respectively.In this study,farmers from three villages were selected as the survey samples,and the multiple linear regression analysis was carried out to study the influencing factors of farmers’ willingness to participate in the utilization of seed and raising wastes.The results show that the farmers will make use of straw resource The higher the level of education,the greater the influence of relatives and neighbors’ opinions,the higher the evaluation of economic benefits of resource utilization,the improvement of soil and water air quality,the lower the difficulty of operation of professional equipment,the more willing to participate in the publicity activities of resource utilization,the more willing farmers to participate in the utilization of straw resources;For livestock and poultry manure,the higher the degree of influence of neighbor’s will,the higher the evaluation of economic benefit of resource utilization,the improvement of rural living environment,the higher the understanding of resource utilization,the lower the difficulty of operation of professional equipment,the higher the willingness to participate in resource utilization propaganda activities,and the more willing farmers to participate in the resource utilization of livestock and poultry manure.Based on the results of the study,recommendations are made: First,to strengthen interpersonal trust in rural areas.First of all,we should strengthen the training of village cadres and improve the social credibility and influence of village cadres,and secondly,we should make rational and effective use of the local characteristics of the northern farmers’ heavy blood and geographical relations.The second is to enhance the value perception of farmers’ resource utilization.First of all,we should improve the living environment in rural areas and improve the evaluation of farmers’ living environment,secondly,we should strengthen the support of resource utilization,expand the profit margin of resource utilization,and strengthen the control of pollution from rural sources to improve the air quality of rural water and soil.Third,make rational use of social and environmental capital and improve farmers’ willingness to participate.First of all,we should vigorously develop the enterprises that make use of waste resources and develop circular agriculture,secondly,we should introduce professional and technical personnel to strengthen the construction of the talent team,and finally,we should increase publicity efforts to promote the change of farmers’ concept.
