A Study On Farmers’ Ecological Consciousness From The Perspective Of Rural Revitalization

Our country is a big agricultural country,and the issues about ‘agriculture,rural areas and farmers’ are related to the national economy and the people’s livelihood.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the strategy of rural revitalization,which is an important strategic deployment that focuses on the priority development of agriculture and rural areas in the long run.Rural revitalization means all aspects of revitalization,it concludes culture,politics,economy,society,ecology,and party building.As we all know,farmers are one of the main forces in rural revitalization in the new era.Farmers have uneven ecological awareness.Whether farmers have good ecological awareness is related to the physical and mental health of farmers,to the quality of the ecological environment in rural areas,and to rural revitalization in the new era.Therefore,we must attach great importance to various problems in the construction of farmers’ ecological awareness in the process of rural revitalization,and strive to achieve the task of ‘harmonious co-existence between human and nature’ and speed up rural revitalization.As the main body of new rural construction in the new era-how about the status quo of farmers’ ecological awareness?What are the problems? What are the reasons of the problems? What are the solutions?These are the key issues of this thesis.This article focuses on the reality of people’s pursuit of a better life in the new era.Taking Gonghe Village in Jianyang City,Sichuan Province as an example,the village was selected as a provincial-level poor village in2014,and later selected as an advanced demonstration village for provincial-level rural revitalization in 2020,the village is mainly known for the development of ecological agriculture.The first chapter of this article starts from the meaning and background of the topic,after reading the relevant literature,it explains the research innovations,important and difficult points,research ideas,and the literature analysis method,interview method,analytical induction method and other research methods used in this article;The second chapter clarifies the concept,function and ideal state of farmers’ ecological consciousness from the perspective of rural revitalization;The third chapter seeks to cultivate farmers’ ecological consciousness from the main ecological thoughts of Marx and Engels,the main ecological thoughts of ancient China,and the main ecological thoughts of the Communist Party of China.The fourth chapter is an empirical analysis.The author summarizes the current situation of local farmers’ ecological awareness through face-to-face exchanges with farmers in Gonghe Village,and consults relevant documents.Using Marx’s ecological thinking as a starting point,the author has an understanding of the current ecological awareness of farmers in Gonghe Village.A deep reflection on the status quo is carried out,pointing out that the current farmers’ ecological awareness objectively includes the insufficient popularization of the concept of rural ecological civilization,the backward economic development in the rural areas,the serious differentiation between urban and rural areas,and the imperfect environmental protection system.From a subjective point of view,the farmers are also affected by traditional life-style and lack love for nature.The fifth chapter is based on the current status of the ecological consciousness of farmers in Gonghe Village,and puts the ecological consciousness of farmers in Gonghe Village under the rural revitalization project into the overall background of farmers’ ecological consciousness in the view of rural revitalization.Farmers’ ecological awareness should be cultivated in the following ways.The first is to popularize the concept of ecological civilization by strengthening ecological publicity,guiding ecological consumption,and enriching ecological practices;The second is to promote the green development of the rural economy by developing ecological agriculture,learning ecological technology,and expanding ecological sales.;The third is to improve the key system of rural environmental protection by improving the environmental reward and punishment system,the supervision system,and building an ecological long-term mechanism.
