Study On Source Classification Of Domestic Waste In Hohhot

With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,the increase of population also brings great pressure to the ecological environment.President Xi Jinping talked about the importance of garbage classification on many important occasions.Since then,governments all over the country have started to classify garbage and the ultimate goal is to achieve "harmless,reduction and resource".Hohhot is one of the 46 key cities in the pilot project of garbage classification and it has formulated the 《Hohhot city management of domestic waste classification method 》.However,the garbage classification in Hohhot is not optimistic.By analyzing the theories and works of scholars at home and abroad,we can learn from the advanced experience of garbage classification in countries such as Germany and Japan,especially the successful exploration of garbage classification in Shanghai,Xiamen and other cities in China.In addition,I used the methods of questionnaire survey,in-depth interview and data statistics to investigate and analyze the current garbage classification in Hohhot and the solutions to the existing problems.This thesis puts forward suggestions on garbage classification from three levels of government,community and residents.Garbage classification is not only a systematic project that requires continuous investment,but also requires the joint participation of the government,community,residents and even social organizations.The purpose of these feasibility suggestions is to improve the quality of waste classification in Hohhot and provide some reference ideas for other cities to promote garbage classification.
