| Global value chain division of labor has become the main mode of international division of labor,China actively,inserting into global value chain in achieving economic high growth of carbon emissions at the same time also increased rapidly.Being at the low end of the value chain,this division of labor mode not only damages China’s trade interests,but also pays environmental costs.Therefore,it is of great significance for China to explore the high-quality development path of foreign trade with high added value and low carbon emission intensity by exploring the evolution trend of the participation degree and status of China’s manufacturing industry in GVCs and its impact on the carbon emission intensity of manufacturing industry.This paper mainly studies the impact of global value chain embeddedness on the carbon emission intensity of manufacturing industry from both theoretical and empirical perspectives.First of all,combined with relevant theory analyzes the participation in global value chain,the influence of the position of carbon intensity mechanism,second on the degree of global value chain to participate in manufacturing industry,status index and measure carbon emissions,and for Chinese manufacturing division of labor in the process of inserting into global value chain is the development trend and carbon emissions basic situation to do a statistical analysis and the quantitative interpretation.On this basis,the panel threshold model is used to empirically study the relationship between the participation degree and status of GVCs and the carbon emission intensity of manufacturing industries.The empirical analysis results show that the participation degree of GVC has a significant inhibiting effect on carbon emission intensity.There is an inverted U-shaped relationship between GVC status and carbon emission intensity.Further status in global value chain as the threshold variable,found that participation in the global value chain abatement effect profound is restricted by the status of global value chain,low status of global value chain will not benefit the global value chain embedded give play to the role of low carbon emissions,higher position in global value chain will be able to strengthen the global value chain embedded inhibition of carbon intensity.Finally,on the basis of the above conclusions,countermeasures and suggestions for China’s manufacturing industry to be embedded in global value chain and realize low-carbon development transformation are summarized and summarized from the aspects of enhancing the breadth and depth of value chain,actively embedding high-end links in value chain,optimizing supporting environment and strengthening technological innovation. |
