Research On The Efficiency Of Green Technology Innovation And Its Influencing Factors In Chinese Energy Enterprises

Under the background of low-carbon economy,the traditional "three highs" development mode leads to the contradiction between economic development and ecological protection."Green economy" and "green development" have become the focus of the Party and the people.As a typical representative of three high-type enterprises,it is imperative for China’s energy enterprises to transform into a refined green environmental protection method.For the energy enterprises in the production and business activities still exist in the high emissions,pollution and other issues,we must improve the efficiency of green technology innovation of energy enterprises.As the innovation subject of green technology,enterprises promote the process of green development and industrialization of green achievements.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to measure the green technology innovation efficiency of energy enterprises.In this paper,the data of 199 listed energy enterprises in China from 2015 to 2019 were selected,and the dynamic SBM-DEA model and Tobit regression model were used for empirical research.This paper measured the efficiency of green technology innovation in Chinese energy enterprises,explored the potential for improvement of energy enterprises’ efficiency,and conducted sensitivity analysis to identify the most sensitive input and output variables.And the Tobit model was used to analyze the influence factors in this paper.The paper found that:(1)Green technology innovation efficiency of Chinese energy enterprises was generally low.The average efficiency score of 199 samples was 0.385 during 2015-2019,only 36 enterprises operating effectively.(2)Through the analysis of the improvement potential,it was found that the inefficient sample enterprises have serious output deficiencies.The desirable output of effective enterprises is significantly higher than that of inefficient enterprises.(3)The output variables showed a higher sensitivity than the input variables.Environmental tax,green patent number and net profit were the most sensitive indicators affecting the efficiency of green technology innovation.(4)The scale of enterprises and government support had a positive impact on the efficiency of green technology innovation,while the investment in research and development and the intensity of environmental regulation had a negative impact on the efficiency of green technology innovation.In addition,the establishment time of enterprises on the efficiency of green technology innovation was not significant.The paper put forward five suggestions,including: promoting the large-scale development of energy enterprises,improving the level of transformation of green scientific and technological achievements,taking responsibility for environmental protection,formulating differentiated environmental regulation policies and making full use of government functions.This paper hopes to put forward reasonable suggestions for improving the efficiency of green technology innovation,realizing transformation and green sustainability of Chinese energy enterprises.
