The steel industry is the pillar industry of China's economic development and the foundation of industrial modernization.China's steel industry has a huge production base.However,due to the lack of key technologies,China needs to import a large number of high-end steel products every year.In the face of increasingly fierce international competition,China's steel production needs to make higher demands on technological innovation.However,steel enterprises,as the basic production units of steel,have long relied on material resource consumption and scale expansion,forming an extensive development model of high consumption and high emissions,causing serious environmental pollution problems,which has made the steel industry transformation and upgrading facing difficulties.Faced with many challenges,China must promote the development of iron and steel enterprises in the direction of high technology and green.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the specific situation of green technology innovation efficiency of China's steel enterprises,which has important practical significance for realizing the sustainable development of steel enterprises.The paper reviews and summarizes the research status of green technology innovation and efficiency evaluation.Based on the innovation value chain theory,it divides the enterprise innovation process,integrates environmental factors into the research framework,and constructs a two-stage evaluation index system for steel enterprises' green technology innovation efficiency.The matching network SBM-DEA model and Malmquist index method were selected to measure the green technology innovation efficiency and green total factor productivity of 12 sample steel enterprises in China.The static efficiency analysis and dynamic change analysis were carried out in stages;Projection analysis and innovation model analysis are important to understand the lack of efficiency of steel companies.The research results show that the overall level of green technology innovation efficiency of China's steel enterprises is moderate and showing an upward trend.Among them,the low efficiency of the research and development stage is the root cause of the overall efficiency decline;the iron and steel enterprises pay too much attention to the transformation of economic benefits in the development process.Ignoring the accumulation of technical knowledge;the irrationality of innovation resource input and resource allocation is the main reason for the lack of efficiency of steel enterprise green technology innovation;the innovation mode of steel enterprises is highly polarized,and the innovation ability and technical level among enterprises are uneven..Based on the research conclusions,this paper gives countermeasures and suggestions for improving the efficiency of green enterprise innovation in steel enterprises from the aspects of promoting technological innovation-driven transformation and upgrading and increasing environmental protection and emission reduction to promote green development,and for the future transformation and sustainable development of steel enterprises.Provide a viable reference and reference.
