Due to the uneven allocation of medical resources in China, most patients are concentrated in large and medium-sized hospitals with high medical service. The outpatient halls are often overcrowded, which makes patients waste a lot of time waiting in queues, resulting in increasing conflicts between doctors and patients. Therefore,it is of great significance to solve the hospital queuing problem, which is also the research direction of this paper. On hospital queuing problem, most scholars at home and abroad establish queuing systems based on the queuing theory and assume that the arrival process of patients is random, which ignores the patients as subjective decision-makers.At present, most of the large and medium-sized hospitals in our country have already implemented the appointment service. Each patient will choose an appropriate time to arrive according to his appointment number so that the average waiting time for queuing is less, and the arrival process of patients is no longer random. This paper considers the game between patients who have already made an appointment, establishes a queuing and calling model, and analyzes the equilibrium arrival strategy of multiple patients in both appointment numbering mechanism and on-site numbering mechanism.By comparing the average waiting time of patients in the equilibrium state in two mechanisms, the following conclusions were drawn:In the appointment numbering mechanism, patients with a higher rank appointment number have less average waiting time because of having queuing priority. In the on-site numbering mechanism, since no patient has queuing priority, patients have a greater probability of arriving in succession within a short time interval, which results in congestion, and the average waiting time per patient increases accordingly; The total average waiting time of all patients in the appointment numbering mechanism is shorter, while in the on-site numbering mechanism is longer. The ideal situation is that the hospital manager can specify the arrival time of each patient,so that each patient arrives as staggered as possible, and the total average waiting time of all patients will be greatly reduced. Therefore, the medical treatment efficiency of patients will be greatly improved. These results not only offer a new perspective for the study of hospital queuing problem, but also provides an important reference for alleviating the current hospital queuing problems.
