A Study On The Discourse Of Health Reports In The People’s Daily Since The 18th CPC National Congress

The word "health" plays an important role in the development of human society.From the ancient people’s expectation of being able to have a good stomach and get rid of diseases for a long time to the present people’s desire for a strong physique,the attention to "health" runs through every stage of the development of human society.At present,China is gradually moving towards building a well-off society in an all-round way.Only when the whole people have health,can we achieve a well-off society in an all-round way.The proposal of the "healthy China" strategy provides a solid guarantee for the realization of the health of the whole people,and describes a clear blueprint and construction direction for the important issues such as improving the healthy living standards of the people and prospering the health industry in the health construction of China.At present,our country is facing a deeper problem of improving social health level.How the news media help the mainstream public opinion better through health reports is of great significance to promote the construction of health cause in our country.Based on Van Dijk’s theory of discourse analysis and Fairclough’s three-dimensional model of discourse analysis,this paper takes the health report of the people’s daily since the 18 th National Congress as the research object to analyze the characteristics and changing motivations of its news discourse.In the macro level analysis,the macro structure of the text and news graphics are deeply explored.The focus of macro structure analysis is placed on the news theme or topic as the core of the text structure analysis,and the news graphics are studied through the use of plot,background(pre event),oral reflection and evaluation analysis.In the micro level analysis,through the detailed analysis of the three key elements of vocabulary,sentence pattern and discourse,the characteristics and changes are summarized.In the analysis of language style,rhetoric and intertextuality,this paper summarizes the trend of language style and social development,analyzes the suspense setting,data use,fact rhetoric and other techniques in the text,and probes into the fusion of the use of popular discourse and ancient and modern discourse in the analysis of intertextuality.In the analysis of discourse practice and social practice,the production process,presentation features,discourse changes and the social forces and reasonsthat influence discourse features are deeply explored.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the people’s daily health report is one of the teams to promote the construction of healthy China,to improve the national health literacy education,and to improve the health communication effect.Therefore,this paper takes the discourse of people’s Daily’s health report as the research object,hoping to summarize the discourse characteristics and the reasons behind the changes of its health report,summarize its communication strategy and effect improvement experience,so as to expand the communication scope of media health report,influence more readers,guide the audience to form a healthy self-awareness and opinion,encourage a healthy lifestyle and enhance the acceptance of Public health literacy.It will make a strong support for the construction of a healthy society in China,and at the same time,it will play a role in promoting the communication power and influence of mainstream media in the field of health.
