Research On News Discourse Of Medical Staff Reporting In The New Era

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),China has stepped into a new era,and the main contradiction in Chinese society has changed.Among the things people focus on and look forward to,their own life and health has become a particularly important one.As the center of health issues,medical care is closely related to public health.As practitioners of medical undertakings,medical staff are the protagonists of health issues and front-line practitioners who adapt to the changes of the new era and promote the development of medical undertakings,so that the achievements of medical undertakings can benefit the public.At the same time,the arrival of the new era means the emergence of a new communication situation.In the new context,the media undertakes important social and political tasks.As the protagonists of medical events,reports on medical staff not only guide the audience’s thinking,but also reflect the country’s professional expectations for medical staff,which is conducive to better communication and publicity of medical policies.As the official mouthpiece,the mainstream media should stand at a new historical starting point,do a good job in reporting medical personnel,and report medical personnel related news to the public objectively and fairly,so as to help medical personnel to carry out their work and boost the progress of the medical industry.Therefore,this study takes People’s Daily as an example to discuss the characteristics of the discourse reported by medical staff in the new era from the content of news reports,so as to analyze the country’s career expectations for medical staff in the new era.In accordance with the context of Fairclough’s critical discourse analysis,this study conducts discourse analysis on medical staff reports from three aspects:text itself,discourse practice of text and social practice.The first part,according to the data which were extracted from the corpus of based on deep analysis and qualitative analysis,the text content under the new era of medical personnel news discourse,the second part,respectively,through to the news report number,layout,and themes of generalizations,and USES the multimodal discourse analysis,and from two aspects:meaning,interactive narrative significance of case analysis,This paper discusses the discourse practice of medical staff news text from the Angle of agenda setting and intertextuality.The third part focuses on what kind of social relationship factors affect the presentation of news discourse,and then summarizes the professional expectations of medical personnel in the new era.The fourth part compares with previous studies,summarizes the characteristics of discourse presentation of medical staff in the new era based on the above analysis,and puts forward the problems in the current stage of news reporting,hoping to provide a feasible way for the media to make a good bridge of communication between doctors and patients,medical staff and the public.In future news events,we can build a platform for equal dialogue from a more diverse perspective,so that the media can promote the development of the medical field and the realization of a healthy China.
